"So E3 then. Expect Sony to come right out of the gate with the Gran Turismo 5 blow-out. We’re predicting: new trailer, some gameplay details, a bit about the online, release date and then segway into 3D functionality on PS3. Well that’s the way we’d arrange it if we were SCEA. The date’s definitely going to be at E3 though. 100%. We actually wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped an “and you’ll be playing it within the next four weeks” type announcement actually. Then again, a game of Gran Turismo’s magnitude should really have a lengthy PR build-up. We’ll see. But it starts at E3, we’re certain of that."

If they'll update prologue to the current demo specs, that should relieve future tensions if GT5 doesn't get released till Fall.
 
Haven't visited this thread in awhile...but I took a look at the front page and noticed all those blank spaces under each category.....and then I thought how awesome the feeling will be when *hopefully* all of those slots are filled with information goodness....I really hope for the first time we'll be getting all the information we've all so been grasping for.

You are right though, GT5 is not the coming of Jesus. It is something far, far more important and believable. If there was a "Church of Gran Turismo", I'd be there!

Maybe a small sacrifice needs to be made to speed up the release, instead of the usual animals which seem to be the popular choice of many religions, a more fitting sacrifice would be a small mediocre Japanese hatchback, painful? probably yes, helpful? most definitely not....

Would be sort of neat. But I am sick of the word Prologue. Prologue should honestly be the last thing on our mind. It's about GT5 or nothing. Not a little teaser of a game.

Correct. $30m sold on a 'demo' already for 2 years. No E3 demo to the public, just a release.

I don't take offense to it, and I am a devout Christian. They aren't trying to be offensive, so I don't think it should be taken that way. Just my honest opinion. However, you do raise a good point, there are probably people on here that would take offense, so it should stop.

Well, while I agree with you, I wouldn't go that far. Besides, the kids loose interest when no one cheers or make rude noises back.

As for Prologue getting updated or not, it depends on the release date. If it's November, frankly I'd like Prologue to be updated with the new physics. GT4 is fun and all, but it looks and feels primitive now. Heck, Forza feels primitive, and has issues that vex me greatly. Prologue is actually rather close, but really, it's still just not the same.

But if GT5 is coming in July or August, I'd live. More than that, and I'd really like a Prologue patch to get me through the next six months.

Maybe I'm just used to people's -everything- being open for humor. Culturally it may be different in Australia...

Besides it was not an attack on anyone's beliefs. More of a bit of laughter at GT and Church being juxtaposed for comedic effect.

I hate to see you feel like that was some kind of attack...
