Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.61 Now Available

It's interesting to potentially see the Z-tune R34 as that car is pretty epic and rare by any means, Ofc if it is the little Honda I welcome that also, but hell frikkin NO to the ugly Qashqai!!! Every single day of my driving life I encounter some absymal driver in a crappy Nisssaann Qashcrapp or Juke or Note that is really incompetent at driving that said car on UK roads, and plus Kaz dont put us through CVT boring simulator please, thanks.

EDIT: I cant find a decent video of the actual Amalfi R34 pace car mission, google & reddit are being useless so I posted the general licence chasing R34 video instead. If anyone has it please let me know as I love that mission.

Same here. Only exception being the nissan, the other two cars pretty dissapointing for at least, an 80% of the community. However they atleast choosed a fun keicar, the N-one. It could have been worse.

Agreed but it won‘t happen. The game is beyond stale at this point. Probably the worst case of squandered potential I‘ve ever seen when it comes to games.
 
I'm sure we all have cars we'd like more than some cars in some updates, but if you really want to get them noticed by the relevant people you probably should be Suggesting, or voting for their existing Suggestions, in the appropriate place.

That's no guarantee, of course - there's so many steps leading up to a car actually making it into the game - but it is a much more constructive approach.

Just plucking one car from the last couple of posts out, there's only one Golf R hatch in the Suggestions forum (the Mk7) and it has 27 votes. That doesn't even rank it in the top 50 pages...

Meanwhile the NISMO Z-Tune has 240 votes, putting it on page two. I'm sure the Qashqai and N-ONE are less-demanded, but we have seen high-vote cars appearing in several updates now.

Remember the PD rule: if it's obvious and makes sense, it's not happening. Motegi would seem like a super-obvious, sensible addition, so...


Whatever the R34 turns out being (since it isn't a Nissan-factory stock vehicle; I agree with the Z-Tune shouts but it might be something else), it'll be the first "Professionally Tuned Car" added since 1.40/November 2023, the fifth added in total, and the 18th in the list. The only aftermarket brand with more than one is Amuse, so a second NISMO would be quite an occasion - though Toyota has three (Shigeno Trueno, SF-R Racing Concept, 86 GRMN).

I love the sound affect of the poo 💩 emoji makes me laugh everytime lol. I don’t mean to over use it but damn I got no faith in GT7 updates and I’m not getting GT8. There’s so many amazing current cars M3 M4 AMG they could add or updated GT3 cars or LMP cars (watching Brazil 6 hours as I type) also nascar etc. I still prefer the older GT games for career structure and events etc. Polphony will always do what they want but damn lol , maybe I’m just old and grumpy but the updates are unappealing and no word of events. Or dlc I’ll pay for some categories or a new track. Anyway my options. Still play GT7 weekly for weekly event thing but not much and I’ve missed some weeks to CBF anymore. 😢

If we can make it look like that I will be happy. Always good to see another Kei car but I keep look for the Autozam. Oh well I guess I ll go play Grid Legends to use an Autozam ,😞. Don't mind the CuV but they do need to create a CUV event now
 
You know what would be interesting rather than buying a separate car as the Z-Tune, instead you have to buy the base R34 and then you pay for the Z-Tune package and one of those corporate clippy avatars walks you through the upgrades that are being done to your car to make it into a Z-Tune. But that would require so many resources that PD can't spare. Like, a few paragraphs of copy. Nahh, will never happen.
