Hyundai Elantra TCR (TC in game)
992 gt3 R
Either the SU7 or maybe the afeela SUV prototype, the front design kind of matches the afeela…

Historic, the first Chinese car on Gran Turismo is coming next week and finally the banner they put in the game since middle of last year are finally makes sense.
I can't wait to drive it, in the recent carwow video it smoked Ferrari SF90XX in both 1/4 and 1/2 mile drag races with a gap actually widens in the 1/2 mile drag race.
I remembered Kaz also announced a VGT collab with Xiaomi so that will come later also very exciting times ahead open doors for more Chinese cars to join the roster now other than what we know it's BYD Yangwang U9 Extreme and Xiaomi VGT is coming next.

I think you guys are wong about the front shot, it look more to me like honda prelude 2026

So Group 3 will look like this going forward:

Ferrari 296 for fast circuits?
Porsche 992 for technical ones?

Depends on BoP of course. I wonder if PD can get a refund on the obsolete models. 🤣
What? 😂 The 296 isn't that good is it? I still find the 458 the Ferrari Gr.3 of choice, albeit that might be because of my driving style but the 296 didn't blow me away? (I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just from my limited experience and talent)

I have to wonder - Porsche are super safe in Manufacturers so it's not a huge deal, but in a timeline where Porsche were currently 13th, would they have still released this car in this update?

Imagine the drama if they had only qualified because a new car with a favourable BoP was added for the final round...

They could just block that car for round 6? Hopefully they will if BoP hasn't been properly tested

Also, if it's anything with the Audi R8 LMS EVO and Ferrari 296 GT3, the regular versions of certain GT3 cars would be enough, with the EVO kits being part of their custom parts selection in GT Auto, while those with drastic redesigns compared to their predecessors (e.g. Mercedes-AMG GT3 '20 and Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 '18, and hypothetically, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO and Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2) will require new, separate cars entirely.

So I guess with the upcoming Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), the upcoming EVO kit will be part of its parts selection, and no need for a separate car.

In theory, such cars like the BMW M4 GT3 and McLaren 720S GT3 if added would be in the game, the regular versions would be good enough, and the EVO kits will be in GT Auto.
