While I don't expect it to happen, I think a WTC 700 race at Daytona would be interesting. Would add a new event in quite some time AND it'd be a nice sorta mimic of the Michelin Pilot Challenge race.

Depends on if PD modelled this to include the evo parts like they did with the R8 Evo and 296 GT3. As far as I call tell, only immediate visual difference I can see between the base 911 GT3 R and the Evo are the Louvers on the front just after the headlights and I'm not entirely sure how they would implement those considering they aren't diveplanes that can be lumped into "Front" or the Diffuser that can just be put in "Rear".

"Side". Isn't like the engine cover on a F3500 changing as you select different sides?

I agree, but It's curious because that front edge doesn't match the Xaomi and the roof intake doesn't match the Hyundai, not to mention the wing.

We shall see. The one on the left absolutely looks like the Porsche. The one in the back totally matches the Hyundai. But the one on the right doesn't match the Xaomi. As mentioned, it has a prominent lip between the lights, which the Xaomi lacks. Also, that roof intake doesn't match. Same for the mirrors. It's definitely not the Prelude either. The profile is completely wrong.

Granted, the cover could be altered to keep us guessing, but that's a lot of alteration.

Is there even another car in existence that has a sporty fastback silhouette with a curved rear wing, but also has the LiDAR roof scoop?

I can't think of any alternatives. Pretty sure the SU7 is the only thing that could possibly be - even if the front end is a bit disorienting to fit to the silhouette.

I hope this doesn't mean Kaz has turned his back on the core playerbase to satisfy the whims of the ephemeral Sport crowd.
The more time passes, the more convinced I am that my theory that the PS6 and GT8 have been delayed is correct. The cars and tracks we are getting recently would have made a good roster of new additions for the next game.
That's just amazing news, I'm so glad we're finally getting up to date GT3 cars!

Fingers crossed for the Z06 GT3.R and the M4 GT3 next. This game keeps just getting better and better.
I know someone who gonna be very busy in the coming weeks. lol

This Polestar concept, but no rear wing. The front line sort of matches.

I don't know which car is under that cover, all I am saying is the silhouette doesn't match the SU7. Again, the silhouette could be altered so it doesn't spoil the surprise.

It sort of matches the Polestar BST concept, but that doesn't have the lidar camera on the roof.

Would it help any if I were to say that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is in this update?
Ya, I was just saying the silhouette didn't match the form of the car. It's strange. I get that the SU7 is in the update, but that cover doesn't match the details.

The lidar hump is different, the mirrors, and the nose. It's like they grabbed the wrong concealed model for the screenshot.

With the 992 and 296 GT3 here, and presumably incoming with their EVO parts, I do wish that PD would add EVO parts to some of the older cars like the Huracan and NSX (harder for this one since it's an original design maybe).

Nonetheless, now we're missing the C8, 720S, M4, Vantage, and S650 Mustang :) it only took like 10 years to get here

We don't even have the road cars for the 720S, M4 or new Mustang.

For the Lambo, could be possible for the first Evo (Though unsure if they would bring along the Huracan road car face lift along with it).

For the Honda, can't see PD doing an "Evo" for its own cars as surely they would've done so already.

The front end seems to match the "Prototype" version of the SU7 Ultra.

That one didn't have the ADAS set on the roof, tho.

Maybe it's the production version with an optional front end?

Part of me thinks that with the 296 setting an example, we'd get the road cars same time as the racers. I do anticipate the BMW M4 in both guises will appear at some point.
Maybe, but it's not always a guarantee they'll always bring both the road and GT3 versions in the same update

Great news for the Sport Mode crowd. I'm certainly not one of them so I'll probably not be seeing much use out of the new additions but either way it's good to see some up-to-date racing cars added.
Not sure why you have to frame this update as for the „sport mode crowd“ (only).
I mostly race offline and running custom races with new race cars is great. There is plenty of use here.
