Hmmm, curious question for you all: What's the best Group 3 car in the game so far?
BMW Z4 GT3. Only because I've won in it twice. But honestly, it handles really well and isn't horribly slow in a straight line.

It’s especially good at Interlagos. I can confirm it. My buddy was winning with a ginormous lead in sport mode. Not sure how it behaves on other tracks.

Had THE BEST time last night on GTSPORT, in a brilliant lobby with brilliant guys. Be on a hotlap and 2 guys in front will peel off-line and let you passed (unheard of), and we all generally got round first set of bends in every race A-OK. Racing was all very clean and the pace was good.
I got to try out the Mazda GT3 too, new favourite car! Best evening of online racing I've probably ever had. Love it :)

Not really. There’s no one size fits all car. At the same time, you can gain significant time by picking the right car if it suits your style.

The AMG GT eats it’s tires quickly from what I’ve experienced racing it at Dragon Trail. It loses speed during quick changes of direction and bounces on high kerbs. It has great acceleration and stability. If you’re not too limited in terms of credits, look at the leaderboards and try these cars. To get the best idea, make sure you ebable the BoP in arcade mode so your results coincide with what you’ll experience in sport mode.
To get to the leaderboards, is that under the Time Trail option? I ask, because no names show up on the leaderboard in Time Trail mode.

Go in Sport Mode and select a Daily race or a FIA event featuring Gr.3 and look at the practice times. I don’t remember how it’s called but you should see your friends’ lap times and those of the top 10.

Game is pulling me deeper and more deep into itself, just like all previous GT games, no matter how much different this one is!

Dreaming about getting wheel/stand again, but for now it is only a dream.

Only worried what will happen when i finish all challenges...

Hey @qwbufp good race yesterday around Interlagos in Gr4. The 3 way battle for 2nd place between us and gtc_riesling was a lot of fun.

Thanks for the heads up. You up for practicing the Gr 3 race?

This was/is one of those cars that were really good in corners (especially in slow ones) -irl-.But it did lack in terms of straight line speed.
Of corse its an old model and cannot compete against the "new" GT3 machines -again irl- these days.
But GTS is just a game so it can make Z4 faster in terms of top speed. The most important thing is if you enjoy using it.

There are at least five that can keep up the pace at most tracks. Watch out for Beetles though, that seems to be the flavour of the month, so lots of bad drivers use it.

Top 10 are full of Bettle's.For sure you dont concider those as "bad" drivers.
(the rest just go for the "meta")

No, I'm not near enough to them to know if they are dirty or not (most likely are not), I'm just on about all the ones that copy them by using it thinking it is some kind of cheat car. Most of them don't care if they have to barge their way through or force other people off track.

I dony think they use it because of that. Most people use it because of BoP not working (a problem since the beta that PD cannot yet "fix") and that make some cars faster than others.Being a clean/dirty/fast/slow has nothing to do with that.
Some are actually clean others are not.

I have an affinity to the Z4 as well. People seem to put up better numbers in the M6 but I can't quite match my Z4 times with it. Not enough tuning time and driving experience in the M6 probably, but if the Z4 is more fun, what the heck?

A lot (not all) of the not so fast guys are using it because they think it's a short cut to doing better, thus these guys are more likely to use any method possible to get past, like using you as a brake (as again it's short cut to do better).

Whilst there are a lot of the top ten using it, on the current track anyone of those guys could use the Subaru, Porsche, McLaren or even the Mazda and match their times set using the Beetle, it's not that OP, although it does look a bit out of place racing against these cars.

I agree with your poinst (general speaking). But actually you can do better since the car is better (overall) than other cars in many tracks. ;)

Its not only about setting the best personal "hotlap" time.Propably some could do similar times (0.2xx-0.3xx slower) using another car.The thing is that this car can give them not only the best "personal" time but also the best average "lap time".Its easier to be consistent.
Since GTS is not a "pure sim" or "hardcore sim" aliens cannot use "whatever car" to go "super fast".And even in hardcore sims, some cars would have a small (or bigger) advantage in certain tracks. In GTS -our case- some cars always have an advantage in most of the tracks compared to others.

Is there any way to view all your stats on web just like it was on GT5?

Eventually the online community website will work with GT Sport.

Speaking of which, I wonder why they don't bring back seasonal events for GT Sport? They appear to still have the workflow in place for GT6 to continually create seasonal events, why not make an additional tab for GT Sport seasonal single player races to help make the offline players happy?

Getting real mad about the dailys now.......

Nearly under the 2 minute barrier in my Miku Mobile (aka AMG GT3) at Lago Maggiore. I know its not an achievement to you guys (And I hear the words "CHANGE TO LEADERBOARD CAR!"), but to me, things like that matter.

EDIT: Now within 3 seconds of the top guys. 1:59.691

I'm at 1:57.5 in the RCZ but I might not be that fast with the AMG GT. It doesn't suit my driving style! Good job and never stop pushing ;)

Save/load ghost
I try to find a way to get someone’s ghost from the replay section and then load it in my time trial. Is it possible?

It appears they are entirely focusing on funnelling players into online racing. Seems that's where they want everyone to be.

I've missed the ability to skip songs since GT3 was it?

I do daily races on a daily basis. but just one and half hour. no time to join nations or manufacturer.
Last night's combination was terrible. 2 damn slow cars and gr.3 race every one hour.

Why do they give me this kind of ****...
At least I want gr.3 race every half an hour or decent gr.4 race.

Anyone else suprised how easy the final mission race at nurb is? I had a much harder time getting a win at Brazil, needing 5 attempts. Nurb = 1 and done.
Didnt expect that.

Want to know what the best car in GT Sport is? The Porsche 919. Nothing in any video game has come close the matching the drama and excitement of it. You know a car is good when you spend 19 laps on the Nurburgring GP, accumulating a total of 98KM - almost as much as a race in my Monday Night Series! It accelerates out of corners like you wouldn't believe and handles like an F1 car. I didn't think that an LMP could feel so ridiculous in a Gran Turismo game - the R18 in GT6 feels like a GT3 car in comparison. It's absolutely crazy, crazier than any Prototype in Project Cars 2. You can feel the KERS system working all the time, producing soo much extra power that it understeers mid-corner! The car can kill you if you aren't careful, but will reward you if driven as intended. I could not care less if Project Cars 2 has better physics, because driving a 919 in GT Sport is an experience like nothing else. Go out and buy one if you can.

Edit: My wrist was actually sore after I drove the car! Madness.
