So does anyone have a link to this "Cheaper than a full PS4 game" message? Or are we just gonna take a random pic off the internet as reason enough to once again panic that "Oh no it's gonna be a prologue guys".
Its a Direct message sparky, the only way to see the link would be to log in as the guy who recieved it.

Here is the full picture of the Facebook message without it being cropped. I'm not sure if this would help or not with the people not believing it's from the actual GT Facebook page. Other than that here it is again. :)

"Something to announce soon" With all the rumours and hotwheels and now this showing up I'd bet they have something to say soon. Still picking up my AUP mandated grain of salt though.

Mate, it's nice that you've put it up but there's nothing that you can do with a Facebook message that makes it into solid information. At best it will be additional circumstantial evidence if other stuff saying the same thing turns up.

Polyphony are so flaky sometimes that even direct quotes from Kaz have to be taken with care, so a private Facebook message unfortunately doesn't really do anything by itself.

Which means that any pre release info will be questionable.

Obviously. Information direct from Polyphony and Sony is about as solid as it gets, and we sort of have to take it as gospel.

But after GT5 and GT6, I think the attitude of many people to those sorts of announcements will be that they're a clear indication of the results that Polyphony wants to get, but that's about all. There's been a fairly clear disparity in the past between what they intended and what actually happened in some quite important areas.

Information about how Polyphony wants the game to be is great. They're the ones making it, so information about what they're trying to do is always valuable. It lets us know what they're shooting for. But I think that a lot of people will not be taking pre-release announcements as indicative of the final game, at least not without actual gameplay or other solid proof that their goals are actually realised and not just wishful thinking.

Words are not enough from Polyphony. They're the boy who cried wolf. Actions speak louder than words, and so if they wish to promote their game I think they should be showing the features they want to advertise instead of telling.

In the case of something like pricing, we won't know until it goes on shelves.

If you consider GT Concept TG as a spin off so it is cheaper.

GT Concept was a Epilogue and in no way bigger than a Prologue.

"Real" doesn't mean there will be a lot of content.

On a prologue version, we have the impression of playing a big demo.

This will not be the case for GT Sport. So, I consider GT Sport as a real episode.

This is not the case for you? That is your opinion.

So when did YOU play GTS to say such a thing?

No one knows anything about this title other that what has already been published so far. Bla Bla indeed.

There is no need to play GTS to say this game will not be a prologue or "a big demo".

I already know enough to say that.

The subtitle "Sport" marks a clear difference, this episode will offers us another vision.

GTS seems to be oriented competition, with a big partnership with the FIA.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but I highly doubt that there will be this kind of thing in the next standard episode.

We know nothing of the game and you're already set on calling/not calling it a demo/prologue?

Ok....

Honestly, I bet it isn't going to be a full game. I bet it will be a prologue without being called one, so it being cheaper than a normal PS4 game wouldn't surprise me.

No you don't.

The subtitle tells you nothing either. It's just a word. They make sport razors these days.

Seems to be, not is. For all you know GT Sport will turn out to essentially be like an offline prologue with a time-limited GT Academy type competition tacked onto it. Then again it might not be, and you may be right. The point is we just don't know yet, you can't say anything definitively yet.

Also, what happens when the FIA competitions are complete? That is going to drastically change the scope of the game, is it not? They aren't going to run forever, then what? Not so much competition oriented with the FIA anymore, is it?

I thought it said you could represent your country/manufacturer...so what do the Americans get, that is if their company of choice is Ford or Chevrolet?

if its to cheap to be legit then its not legit is my way of reasoning.
But, always a but, if its a ps4 bundleprice
or some sort os ps+ membership thing then it can sound legit.
Hopefully if there is a premium version it will be under 100$ that would be great.

It doesn't mean you have to choose a car made in the country you select. You either select your country, or you select your favorite manufacturer. For example me, only car choice I have is Think and Troll. (I think. Think is a stupid tiny electric car and Troll is a really old plastic car. Hahaha)

GT S tuning menu? Notice PS4 wheel.
Good catch!

It could be anything tbh, but if so, that's some in depth tuning right there.

Considering he does vehicle physics, and what I see is a list of specs and a power chart, I'm inclined to say that's got nothing to do with any tuning screen or tuning options. Could be a new vehicle info screen of some type.

If anything, it may give partial insight into what the UI might look like.

Looks like a web page to me, to be honest. Windows bar along the bottom, address bar along the top. Either that or just some internal data, rather than a front end UI. Could be wrong.
Development is done on Windows PCs.

So it wasn't just me. Thought I saw a Windows bar too

Could just be windowed instead of fullscreen, but that would be weird.

Don't they have Apple computers as well? What do they do with those?

Bigger version on PD site:

I dunno, I'd be surprised if that was part of any front-end UI. Nothing looks interactive.
