How many hours left?

I want to share my love for this game by doing one more thing than blather and get emotional here on the boards. It occurred to me that I can make my little stash of videos available to the community and the world. These are videos offered for download from various services and game outlets after E3 2004, which was supposed to be the year of release. I doubt that many people remember these.
Wow! Those GT4 videos are amazing. Thank you!

I have always only listened to the intro music from the GT series and never any other songs while playing. So for me as well the Cardigans with their GT2 song intro is my favorite. It always brings back great memories when I listen that song. Only one song from another racing game has had a bit the same effect on me:

The Dandy Warholes :D

As for Moon over the Castle, it had to be the version of GT4. I loved the classical intro transforming into an electric guitar. It is such a catchy tune and will be high up my favorite list as well 👍

The retrospective article themes have been locked in for a few days now. It shouldn't be too hard to guess what the themes are that are still upcoming... but it's guessing the contents that should be the challenge. :D

Challenge accepted!

Guess: the Daihatsu Midget II will appear in a list at some point...

Yes.... yes! keep on upping the page count my pretties..

It is already confirmed to be Party time come Thursday!:gtpflag:

For those who want to relive a taste of what it's like in a Gran Turismo reveal, this is a cut down video from the 2004 E3 reveal featuring Kazunori and Translator-san.

I'll have a few more tomorrow, as I'm late for bed. :p

Boy, how E3 has changed...

Pretty much have a love / hate relation with the franchise. The hate part is solely due to number 5 and 6. With GT Sport we are heading to the 7th installment of the franchise. A new platform, a new name, a new direction. This all makes me excited for what is to come.

In some way this franchise is very hard to turn your back to (even more when you play it since the first installment) because it has been a big part of my gaming life and somehow it achieves to suck me back in again. I remember I made all kinds of harsh and negative statements on PD and Kaz. I even stated I was completely done with the series. Look at that silly me... Here I am again checking GTP several times a day, getting excited for what is about to revealed and sharing in the fun with you guys / girls.

I have become more careful, I used to buy GT without a blink of an eye but that isn't the case anymore. The one thing that PD and Sony are doing different this time is the type of launch tomorrow and the day after. Many GTP members going and giving their impressions. Lots of info being released together with fans and this event shows that Sony and PD find it very important to get their players and fanbase connected again to the franchise.

As said I am careful but I can't deny that this GT Sport title excites me a lot and that it has a very positive vibe around it. Can't wait to see how the coming days will turn out. I hope for something spectacular and that it will create a new fresh base for the years to come!

Happy GT Sporting GTP

Soon, we'll be getting more gameplay than we will carefully prepared official trailers and screenshots... Surely that can only be good news for the state of GT Sport.

Considering Jordan will presumably keep this planet updated during tomorrow's afternoon press conference I would imagine there are levels of tolerance about what can or can't be "leaked"...
A simple "its awesome" from a guy like jordan for todays practice session would be enough :dopey: (Because than i can expect that its really awesome)

To be honest, I would be disappointed if there are leaks today.

I understand but they are seemingly part of todays communication standards. If you fear to be spoiled get away from any social media up until the start of the official broadcast. Easier said than done of course.:guilty:

Thanks for the videos @Tenacious D and for any upcoming ones.

Finally see actual picture direct from PDI regarding how accurate the Nürburgring Nordschleife is in GT4. Road surface accuracy difference of 15mm seems really good.

I assume they will carry on this world simulation philosophy for GT SPORT:

I actually prefer GT1's soundtrack to 2's. I think 4 is probably my favourite though. Losing My Favourite game is a great song though.

I must say the replays on Bathurst are the best I have ever seen. White lfa nurb package in the morning and blue sky :), even with some 2d trees and flickering shadows...
I have high expectations now with the ps4.

Don't wana be a killjoy here (and 'Favourite Game' is defo ace) but I instantly turn off music in driving games by default, probably since GT 1.

Now if only the actual sound in GT was better....

*crosses fingers*
