Yeah it needs to be a balance to please both. Very tricky.
 
Every sim racers expect something better than iRacing.
I, as a casual player, expect a fun, challenging and polished Gran Turismo like they were on ps1 and ps2.
That's not true. Most people who are critical just want GT to come up to the standards that many other games are achieving these days.

I prefer the old hud to be honest. Still them Dpad button icons might allow individual element switch off.... which could lead to some customisation...

Gimme Project cars-like physics and i'll be happy.... But Gt6 was very very lacking in the department.
 
If that's the case, then why say anything at all?
Would you rather sit in a room with a shimmering light of which you don't know where it's emitted from or would you prefer to fumble around in the dark?
