Well, during last week GTP has been almost a second, unofficiall Corporate Communications / PR channel for PD.

They have to walk a tightrope, for sure. Maintain their distance to keep some sort of credibility as a journalistic outlet, but stay close enough and keep Polyphony satisfied so they can keep getting invited to these sorts of events, and their coverage is legitimized. It's hard in this business. Suddenly everything I learned in my media ethics class for my journalism degree is rushing back.

Here is what happens when I go to gran-turismo.com and try to pre-order the game

I lay no blame at GTP's door. The guys here have been fantastic over the past week. I'm wondering what this means for tonight's report. Surely the there would have been some footage in the report. No real sign of mods in here. My guess is they are in deep discussion about what to do tonight. Hopefully they haven't been dropped in the shoot by PDI.

Hehe the news of the day will be GTS delay. The moment they shown the date the retail stores should explode with preorder offers, here in Belgium they don't even have an box art..

Joking aside, I am disappointed to see it going down this route and also feel sorry for the GTP crew who did an incredibly good job before and during the évent. It must be a bit of a cold shower for you guys.

Very odd. Was not that impressed with all the new stuff, besides what looked like a promising livery editor and the gorgeous car modeling. Other than that....Meh. Which sucks because I was going to dump my PS3 and get an Xbox One and forza 6. Then I wanted to wait when I saw the show announced. Now, I'm back to getting an Xbox again. Hmmm choices.
