Look at the respondents in this thread. Look at the ones who have Warnings/Infractions (easier for me to do, granted). Look at the ones who have said they play GTA games while much younger than their certificate.

There seems to be somewhat of a correlation. I note only that it's interesting and imply no causative relationship.

Come off it Famine, I have one warning, no infraction points and I have been here since I was 12. Seriously, that must be a whole lot better than half the kids here my age, I try not to upset you guys.

I played GTA from about 12 - 13 i think.. when did GTA III come out on PS2? But i was always more mature then everyone else.
I played GTA 1 on PS1 but I thought the guy was a 'birdie' and i only played for the cars just like every other game I played. I only really got into GTA when vice city came out and I could understand some of it.

I think it is pointless having an argument about such things because 90% of all gamers have played games rated above their own age, many including myself have played them without their parents even realising that a game could be inappropriate, often due to their ignorance to modern technology. Should this happen? Of course not, will it continue for a lot longer, yes. But as parents become more aware of their children's hobbies then this type of behavior may curtail.
Has playing these type of games whilst underage damaged me in any way? I dont think so, and as far as I'm aware I've never had any trouble with the moderators of this site. Perhaps there is some correlation to what Famine is saying but I think it only applies to people who've been banned or are near to that stage, and in that case have almost certainly had more serious issues whilst growing up then just playing age rated games. I clicked on this thread expecting to read some interesting news and possibilities about GTA 5, but was extremely disappointed to find such an argument taking place.
Can we please return to the topic of the thread here now?

Should just mention I'm 18 now, therefore no longer breaking any laws. :p

To get back on topic:
I liked GTA:IV but hated the city. It looked brilliant but was missing the variety of San Andreas and the cheesy feeling of Vice City.
I'd love to see them go back to Vice City but of course the map would have to be much much bigger than the original.

I believe the next GTA will be in San Andreas, it seems the right way to go and has the potential to be so...epic.

I meant I never got a warning/infraction for this conversation.
Go read Famine's post again. He didn't say you got it from this thread. He's noting a correlation between those given warnings/infractions and underage GTA players. You fit into both categories.

I hope its like Vice City / Godfather.

Bring back the dude who goes from nothing to everything!!

King of the city! respected... powerful, kick ass mansion!!

I shiver with joy at a new San Andreas. Making a race through the desert on multiplayer with a bunch of off-roaders... Especially with the new physics...

Then again, what would they call it? San Andreas II?

liberty city... since all of the gta games with numbers (not vice city for example)
have been located in liberty city

A cool thing that maybe Rockstar games might do is bring all the user characters from the other GTA games and they can join to create more mayhem in where ever the setting will take.

i want it in tokyo, BUT, I also want it to have forza 3 driving physics, who would want gta5 to be real now eh?:P

I dunno, I have always thought that the driving physics on GTA were actually better than those on forza apart from in some aspects.

I voted for vice city, just because id like to see a return to it.

What ever happens i just want to have more fun back.

Side missions
vigilante / taxi / ambo / fire fighter etc
I want rewards for doing things.. Extra health for ambo, fireproof for fire fighter, weapon spawns for finding the hidden things, awesome vehicle spawns for 100%.

Get rid of paying 10,000 every time you die... Have an option to keep weapons after dieing / busted if you have done certain missions / side missions.

Bring back rampages even?

I mean its just not as much fun anymore, 10,000 a visit to hospital.. im finding myself just using the same game save over and over and never saving it anymore.. and why bother getting pidgeons and insane jumps, why bother getting 100%.. you get nothing..

I mean fix that and even just keep the mission quality as good as GTA IV, throw in a new city and bam id buy it instantly

I want to see it in 1970's era Vegas. Maybe have a Casino-inspired storyline

It would be neat if the next one was set in modern day Vice City. If you could work for and later on kill the drug lord Tommy Versetti(sp?) it would be awesome.:sly:

Get rid of paying 10,000 every time you die.

Exactly, in San Andreas, it was $100 per visit. In GTA lV, you have to pay a 12th of your current money. Make it a 100th. 500,000/100=$5000. And another health thing, seems like when you fall from 50 or so in GTA lV with full health, you'll die. In San Andreas, with full health and the maximum at 100%, falling from 200 feet, you will end up with 15/100 health left.

Hope they fix it!
Who thinks so?

Tanks and more realistic damage to really crush them vehicles.

For comedians, Mitch Hedberg, Gabriel Iglesias, and it would be cool if they could get Jeff Dunham! OH, and Jim Gaffigan.

Vice City remodeled in the way Liberty City was remodeled for GTA IV, that would just be absolutely awesome!

And small, it would certainly need some expansion (extra island?) or something else to go with it. Personally I hope they do something new, or they re-do San Andreas. Why? because I'm hoping for a bit of variety rather then just the same old grey city, or even the same old bright colours of VC. SA had the 3 different cities, the desert and the countryside, couple those with IV physics and I'm sold. Failing that, I want somewhere with at least some non-urban environments to go with the main city.

I just think maybe link VC, LC and maybe another city from SA and have them all on the same map and that would be awesome, or just SA but with cities modeled aswell as IV with the same physics.

Tokyo sounds good, but my guess GTA5 will be out within next 6 - 7 years from now... I bet there will be 2 more GTA games with GTA4 game engine used, but in different cities.

Getting Mitch Hedberg to appear in the next GTA game really would be awesome!

Because he's been dead for 4 years.
