78 days?? It hasn't been delayed again has it?? I guess I'm out of the loop-- I had already circled March 6th on my calender-- I've been purposely avoiding knowing anything about this game.

If anyone wants to play IV without any spoilers whatsoever might want to avoid the site-- I checked it out and it looks great but started giving me info I don't want to know-- I don't even want to know how the city map is laid out (which is on the first page) and it looks like it has character info too

Site does look awesome though....

The character info is only a sentence or 2 at most for probably 2-3 folks.

I have a problem in deciding which version I want, the PS3 one or the 360 one. I am interested in the extra "Chapters" in the 360 game but the way Microsoft keep going on about how much better it'll be on their system is really annoying me. Even Rockstar have had to come out and essentially put Microsoft right.

MS are probably going to charge an arm and a leg for the extra content, they have to make that $50M back they paid to Rockstar to have it exclusive.

There was rumors that the PS3 version would get the same stuff like after a year or maybe get its own tailors additional content.

Also MS talk bull, multiplayer was always to be on both systems.. I remember all that junk at E3 with the GTAIV tattoo.... hahaha what a joke! Its comming out the same damn day! :lol:

I really want to know how the versions differ like graphically, Im fed up of people saying "oh its the same" and games websites lumping screenshots all together in one version. THERE ARE GOING TO BE EVER SO SLIGHT DIFFERENCES and I wish they had screen shots side by side of the two versions to see...

There'll probably be something stupid, like no anti-aliasing on the PS3 version.
 
So to clear things up, what will multiplayer include? If this is an online multiplayer Grand Theft Auto game, just imagine how many people will be running around with chainsaws and bazookas trying to kill each other for no apparent reason :lol:

The only thing Microsoft get is Download Content. I don't see who's touting they get an exclusive online multiplayer.

There shouldn't be any major differences. Rockstar have kept telling folks the games are being developed in the same manner. Neither version is made to outperform the other.

I highly doubt it'll work like that. Would be cool, though. But if anything, it'll be online games like capture a point or kill the other team.
 
Have you guys heard of SA-MP? Look it up if you don't. It might be insightful to the topic.
 
Multiplayer GTA would be fantastic if it was just wide open do whatever you want style..

Wouldn't be hard to do either!
 
It's been stated before that the game will not be mmo, instead it will most likely feature most of same content that LCS and VCS feature on the PSP.
 
An online team 'battle' mode would be a lot of fun, imagine how many snipers would be camping out in the hundreds of buildings all around the city, it would be complete chaos and alot of fun. I can't wait till this game comes out.
 
I wonder what the car's going to be like? Aside from the "realistic" stuff like gas usage, GTA is known for it's parodies... no acceleration, no handling, brick on four wheels? Probably.. hehe.
 
Wondering about that too. Cant wait to get in my hands. From that one video showing the car runing over the poor dude there shows some nice body roll, but like kekke2000 said, its american so ... hehe
 
Car physics are said to be improved, previewers said you can't just use the handbrake anymore to turn corners after high speed driving, you actually need to slow down with the brakes first.
