I'm on the 360.

I don't think it's a bug. It's just the default setting for some of these cars makes them spin-happy. Changing the set-up fixes the issue, as you would expect it to.

Part of it is probably me being too heavy on the throttle. But I just think that it's an issue because if you're like me, you would feel like you're being punished for something.

I've noticed that especially real wheel drive cars are indeed very oversteery with all aids off instead of ABS. It's not an issue nor a bug just the game's handling model. If you look at reality and would drive those cars on the limit without aids nor proper throttle control they would go sideways through corners a lot also.

Tuning will be required on many rides to tame them, but at least it's there and it does help a lot ;)

I think you're missing the point of my issue - I'm not bothered that the handling needs setting up to perfect, I'm bothered by the way some of the entry-level teams have that ability locked out from the start. Look at the first Open-Wheel championship: Intel Motorsports is one of the first teams available. If you choose them, you have no ability to set the car up. So you're stuck driving a spin-happy Dallara.

True i only did touring cars and a bit of street so far in career, and the chevy was quite easy to drive luckily. Will check out the open wheels soon and i'll get back to you ;)

That's because it's not rear-wheel drive. And if you're deep into the touring car career, the rear-wheel drive cars produce enough downforce that it's not really an issue unless you get gung-ho about it (like I tend to do at Brands Hatch).

But there are teams in Endurance (Oakley) and Open-Wheel (Intel) that have no set-up options, and their cars are very fickle. Some teams in Street (Kicker) have a rear-wheel drive Subaru BRZ, which you can adjust (and doing so makes it very potent), but you have to be aware of it first - it's easy to start a race without realising it, in which case you can look forward to regular three hundred and sixty degree views of Dubai.

The ability to press a 'Repair all cars' button. I now own 8 cars, and after a big online session it's a little tedious to go through and repair them all individually.

This, so much. There's no opportunity to repair your vehicle after a race if it switches to another one. Either add a repair pop up before the car switch or add this.

Just began a career in open wheel, and of the first 2 teams presented Razer gives you tuning options.
Tweaked it a bit for 10 mins and now the beast is tamed, no oversteer on corner exit anymore.

I'm gonna let you figure out the tuning part for yourself now tough :D
 
The ability to use your own racing number in career, like in online.

I know that sounds trivial, but it's a bit of personalisation at work. I was racing for Monster in Open-Wheel today, and I had car #200 (there are a lot of three-digit racing numbers). But #200 isn't my racing number - it's Jesus Navarro's. Mine is #037, for the Lancia Rally 037, or #61 for the Maserati Tipo 61.
 
Being able to change the colour of your car in custom cup.

In many cases (all?), you only have the choice for the default colour when selecting a car in custom cup mode, or a team livery but you can't change the colour of the car in default.

I don't think it's a lot of work to implement this, as the different colours are already there and are selectable in other modes (for the same cars you buy but in online mode).

Somewhat related:

The ability to purchase and personalise the Jupiter Eagleray (demolition derby car)

Having only the set liveries is fairly limiting. Imagine the possibilities for a team-on-team deathmatch... haha.
 
Separate Super Utes and Cat-B Touring into individual championships in career mode, and the same for Super Routers and Cat-A Touring.

I'd love to do a full DTM, Stock Car Brasil or V8 Supercar championship, but at the moment, they're all mixed up.

Remove garage limit online. It's bad enough that you have to pay for new slots, but limiting them so that we can't have at least 1 car in every class for each discipline is just stupid.

I would love to have the option to shift with the Th8rs in sequentiell mode + the ability to use the clutch like you can do in Iracing !
That would be great and not difficult to add , I guess :D

Keep the graphics consistent, introduce an option for more true to life physics (not liking the pivot and turn modeling), and make the engine sounds better.

I don't know but I've never had any issues with paying for repairs... I make a point of repairing each car before a race, so that's about 1,000 credits totalled-up (from roughly 95% damage (or less) on each of the three sections - and that's probably the lowest I've ever seen it get to).

Do repair costs increase as you level a vehicle up?
 
Have some content in between races and/or seasons to make it more involving, instead of having the game just being a string of seasons.

Like the "live the life" stuff CM had in F1 2010. I really liked that kind of thing, as it made it seem more like you were there and involved in making decisions outside of just racing. I really liked that aspect in F1 2010, and was looking forward to having more of it in subsequent F1 titles, but instead it was cut down to less and less.

And it would be a VERY welcome change! :D

Cars would go into corners leaning and relying more on their suspensions rather than sharp wheel angles and an invisible pivot!

It is still good fun though. I hope GAS 2 works on physics and sounds more. The game has crazy potential. Major improvement over GRID II. 👍
