They do. Since i'm anti-MG, Plato is atrociously dirty compared to anyone else, and he whinges.

I'm having my twitter feed totally contaminated by Bathurst news and trivia. We talked about AF CORSE in the Le Mans thread, it seems they also have a Bathurst entry.

I'm not too familiar with this race to dare open a dedicated thread, but shouldn't one of the Aussie regulars here do it? The race is this weekend!

And while I'm at it ... Does anyone know if Motors TV will broadcast the race in Europe (from what I read radiolemans will be there)? And did Andy Blackmore do spotters guide for this one?? )

Motors TV did highlights at Easter last year. I'll double check for you though.

This is the race profram for the weekend.

Radiolemans will have coverage. Then, for Aus/NZ viewers, the last 3 hours will be on SBS HD (free-to-air tv).
There is a live stream as well i believe, probably on the home page http://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/ at least i hope there is.

i fully recommend those new to this race to watch the 2.5hr highlights vid posted earlier in the thread, especially the last part when the torrential rain came.

Good news. With the departures of Hexis, JRM and Marc VDS, the Pro category was looking pretty thin (so far). Hopefully they'll be competitive.

Does anyone have any news on the 2014 Dutch Supercar Challenge? I don't know if the roster for the classes on the official website is up to date.

Also I have often thought about getting interested in the Pirelli World Challenge. Is this something that is highly rated?

Pirelly World Challenge used to be big, but it all got too big too fast on a bad time right when the economy was at its worst, all the manufacturers pulled out and the small teams couldn't compete with a low budget.
It is now turning around and it pretty much set to become North America's version of Blanc Pain's Sprint Series.
Reiter just confirmed they'll be campaigning at least one Lambo whith Tomas Enge at the wheel!

Nissan didn't announce if they are participating in the Blancpain Endurance Series, yet. As far as i know. Do we know the reason behind the decision?

I saw Top Gear last night and Richard Hammond announced that the production of the Gallardo will be stopped. Will this mean that a new Lamborghini will have to be produced for the Blancpain Endurance and Sprint championships for teams like Reiter Engineering and Grasser Racing?

I think they'll continue to run the Gallardo until a Huracan gets homologated. It's a bit like when the 458 was announced/released, yet everyone was still running the 430 Scud.

Here is the entry list for the St. Petersburg round of the Pirelli World Challenge. Also Long Beach.

I'm really liking the variety in cars this year.
