How should it be higher? As most of the sreen shows the interieur of the car you dont see anything of the environment go by which would be necessary for the sense of speed. All that matters for sense of speed is FOV and it looks to be set correct in this video.

From hood view it would appear much faster.

Drive a smaller car and the sensation of speed increases drastically seriously though I hope this is something they implement. After going from a sedan (Primera/G20) to a SUV (X-Trail/Rogue) to a 260Z in RL I have to say it feels a lot faster to go 100kmh in the Z. It's so low, which makes the sensation of speed increase A LOT.
