I just purchased the game yesterday and I saw that the challenges had expired.. Am I able to get these cars still?

Yeah but they will cost you a few million credits.

Go to the VGT section and you can purchase them there.

Plus do not be daunted by the price of them. As you progress the credits builds up pretty fast, especially if you are on the 200% log in bonus. Also there is a red bull championship you can do over and over again and it pays loads.
