Since the new Network Adaptor came out, does GT3 work with this?

Sorry if it's a newb question...... Just need more competition.

Thanks.

u can have a very large LAN party tho....the only downside is that u can only use stock Arcade mode cars.....wut a waste of $20.00 for a Pro I-Link.......

Welcome to GTPlanet, Bavarian! To answer your question, no, you cannot play GT3 online. The next game, Gran Turismo 4/Network will contain online play.

Ok that sucks. GT4 will be by the end of the year or early 03?

I've been a member of this board before; but lost contact since.

Thanks for the welcome.

Late '03, most likely. See this thread for more info.

of course you know that will prolly mean less cars
I don't know about you, but I'd be willing to make that trade-off. :)

Bavarian3:

I too began to find the AI less competitive as I progressed through the game.

One outlet/learning experience that I found was when I picked up a sharkport. It has allowed me to download/upload a number of replays. This lets me race against some of the best racers out there.

That's the next step for you. It's not on-line racing, but it;s the closest you'll get with GT3.

Welcome aboard, and hoep you enjoy your stay.

I, personally, wouldn't be willing to make that trade. I want cars...I want a bigger racing experience...I don't see a point in online racing, personally that is. We already have OLRs...the only thing that would be different is that you can see a manifestation of the time you're trying to beat...On the other hand...If gt4 was on a multi-disc platform...Then you have another thing coming, and online racing would be welcome.
