ever tried drifting while going full reverse on a corner... its fun and funny... but not as fast as normal drifting though.....

Rick I would be glad to show some anti-countersteer vids. but still dry on cash for the damn USB arghh.... *it doesnt work on all corners though, basically on wide angle corners... like the last corner in SSR5 normal before the pits.. i usually practice a-c there...

I am Disapointed because there's no Volkswagen Polo G40 mkII in the game, and more disapointed if there's no old Mini Cooper 1.3i, I loved the Mk version Cooper in GT2, it was so fun to drive.

5 things that will be annoying me in the game is as follows :

1.Ai pushes you out from the track (it's something like a Kamikaze drivin')

2.No weather effects, Raining, storming, day/night etc

3.stock cars got flames from mufflers???

4.5 sec penalties from AI car hitting you

5.Too many Skylines, Lancers, Imprezas etc

Sorry guys if I write quite funny (read where I do live) :)

Skylines do take over the entire game, there's like 30 versions of the same car, and barely any races to use them in. Imprezas, and Lancers are cool. The AI does suck. The day and night is dissappointing for 24 hour races.

I disagree.... somewhat

Once youve reached the point that you're satisfied with GT4 (I am, 100%, 80 gold, certain amount of A-specs (25,000 for me, i quit)all cars in sim garage except two that im not gonna bother with), arcade mode is better IMO than simulation, just because of the quicktune settings, making it easy to set up an even race. Unfortunately, the physics are less harsh, but I use arcade mode half the time now anyway.
 
Once me and my 7 year old cousin had a 2 player battle on the test course.
he picked the Nissan R92CP and i picked the Toyota Minolta 88 C-V race car.
when we picked up speed and went into the slanted like corner he crashed into the wall. Then he performed a 360 degree spin. Then i crashed into the corner.
But instead of me sliding around i flew up into the air and literally flew over his
Nissan!

Has this ever happened to any of you guys before or any thing similar?
 
My game stats are:

88.7% (i,ve yet to finish the remainder of the game because of b****y school!)

My favourite car is the Sauber Mercedes C9 tuned at a horsepower output of
1192 bhp :drool:

I also admire the supercars like the McLaren SLR etc. But the Cizeta V16T is really a piece of s**t.

Ps: i've just completed the Nurburgring 24hr endurance with my 88-CV! :)

The Cizeta is a nightmare to drive.
Oh, and don't forget the Ford GT, the car without brakes :dunce:
 
And the Pagani's economy brakes.

In fact, the only really great supercars to drive are the SL65, Saleen S7 and RUF CTR2.
 
Oh, yeah, the Pagani, I forgot about that one...
I bought the most expensive one and it was total waste of money.
Even tought I had racing brakes and the brake ballance controller and set it up, it still handled like ****.
 
The Vanquish is a peach to drive:)

My favourite car in GT4 is Zsolt.

I was also hoping that the Cizeta V16T was going to be a good Lamborghini substitute. I thought it would have been good to drive a real good all rounder
but i was wrong :( :banghead:

But it more than makes up for that with aggressive looks and more power than an African dictator.

Woot! I didn't even notice that I've past the 25,000 a-spec mark today.
Currently @ 28.0% with 26643 a-spec :dopey:
 
Haha yeah, I got 25,000 a speccers my self. Makes you feel good huh? And even though some people have 30k, 40k, 50k, even 100k aspec points, 25 is a good liveable goal im proud of

I only have 30k+ points, but i'm still happy with it...

Am I only who wants an Monte Carlo Race in GT series?
Like driving from Paris to Monte Carlo, not just driving 200 laps in the ring, just forward to the goal, now that would be interesting, do you think ? With or without traffic, and of course, at least with 20 competitors :drool:

I have wished the EK courses since I played the first GT and Colin McRae rally, it would be so interesting instead of driving just a laps in same course, it would be like a sightseeing :)

Previously, it was NFS:U's drag mode that blew me away, with its speed and overall 'wow' factor. You'know...

Well, after doing the graduation test for the iA licence, going 220+mph down the 6km straight on 'Curcuit de la sarthe 2'. I have to say i was completely amazed at the sense of speed. For the first time ever, it actually felt like i was going at the speed i was going at. GT4's sense of speed is amazing. I was actually happy to re-do that licence test to get the gold. Now i just gotta find out how to unlock that track in arcade mode....:). (Curcuit de la sarthe 1 is crap btw) The one in the licence test had no stupid turnings in the middle of the 6km straight. (iA, i know the version in S licence with the Bentley is the 'crap' version of the track)....=\

Welcome.
First of all, NFS:U is a pice of ****.
You can unlock tracks by GT Mode. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
