Im trying to get the Toyota 7 from the driveing missions but im totally stuck on the first race into the 2nd part of the missions, the one when u use the toyota 2000gt round New York and have to get first, im always about 5 secs of firsts, does anyone have any tips to beat this sucker!

I know really annoying, really want the car though it seems fast as hell when u race against it with say the minolta it puts up a good fight, should be good when fully tuned

hello all - havent posted here in a while - anywayz i finally bought GT4 and im lovin it

however, i cant get into qualifying mode >:|

i saw earlier in this thread someone said that when ur choosin between b spec and a spec u can get it - but i cant see it there

It is on the screen where you choose A-spec and B-spec, but it isn't called qualifing mode. It is called practice. I believe it is to the right of B-spec on the menu.

unfortunately - all that is to the right of b spec on mine is 'settings', then options etc

Sounds like you are in arcade mode or in a family cup race. There is no practice in those races.

The "Practice" option only appears in series races.

hello can we make load on gt4?
today i was playing in the home of a friend of mine and i cannot made load of the 2 memory card,i had to reset the ps2 and put the card that was on gate 2 to the gate 1...can someone help?
sorry if its a repeated question but i did not found nothing on the forums!

No, you can't load a new game, you have to switch off nd change cards.

Haven't seen a thread or post for this topic but, in the pre-release game videos and stills, there is footage of a Skyline (at least I think I remember it being a Skyline) driving through what looks to be a small Japanese village. And there's that footage of a Suburu WRX driving through a bamboo forest.

Where are these courses??!! Unlockable? or Not featured in the game?

Solid! thanks for that. They don't seem to be available, for me at least. Do you need to unlock THEM as well as you progress through the game? I only see about 8 or so courses available in photo mode.

its very frustrating to do a car dealer race and win a car that is the car for the race. I spend tons of money to build up a car then win the same car from the race. Why dont they set up the prize cars so you can win a car for another race?

Those are the only photo stages available. You can still take pictures of cars though. All you need to do is save a replay of any race (2 player, cpu race, time trial, whatever else), then view the saved replay in replay theater. When you press select, you have photo options for the specific point in time that you paused motion.

How do you unlock the R390GT1 in arcade mode? I cant find it...

You have to own it for at least a day in GT mode, the same as every other car that doesn't appear in arcade mode.

You win the Jay Leno Tank car when you complete missions 11-20.

All I did for that Superbird mission was practice and practice. I eventualy got used the the crap handling car and over took the leader by a few seconds.
