Hey guys, can anyone help me....I've completed all the races, missions and One-make races, yet still I only got to 99.2% completion....... Could it be because I didn't get all gold in a few of the Championship races (but still won the championship)?. Do I have to run them over and get all gold?

Yes sir, you gotta gold everything but your lisences - but watch out, if you didn't do Mission 1 first, you might get stuck at 99.8% - there's a bug. If you do a search there's a bunch of threads discussing it specifically.
But you don't have to gold those championship races while running the championship itself, you can individually run the races you need to get gold on.

Hey guys...I went back that night and ran over th individual races that i didn't get 'gold' in the Championship races and I'm proud to say that I have attained 100% completion and won the Black F1 car.....Thanks guys

Now that I've completed the game, it's time for the sly stuff.....any of you guys know about making hybrids or tweaking the cars in GT4..... I found one avenue to get a little more horsepower from the used cars......(Gameshark stuff

I seem to remember reading somewhere there was an issue about not having hybrid capability in GT4, but I could be wrong.

How about custom paint, bodykits, rims, spoilers, a 'custom' shop where you could build your own 'custom' ride. For instance: a 1941 willy's with a turbocharged v12, with a dropped suspension, or a vw bus that you could dragrace, or a place where you could do all mechanical and cosmetic work, to make your ride as unique as your fingerprints, and then be able to race your custom rides against other people in their rides in hp limited races online. That is definately something I'd look forward to if it were to ever happen.

When your doing endurance races, does the competition get harder the more you do? because the first 2 races i did i was against Rx7's and skylines but now im against touring cars etc..

yea im still facing those production cars in the two i did. They were 4hr Nurb and the tsubuka enduro. I tried a couple of the other races and they were touring cars. Maybe you could check on your game and see if your facing production cars on hte 4hr Nurb and the tsubuka enduro

Yea thanks Duck your right. I did that 8hr motegi today and i was against producton cars. At first i thought it was because i changed car for the race but then i read your post and now its all clear...
Anyway, have you ever been a Mod? I could have sworn you were, or maybe im confusing you with someone else...

umm.. dunno if this is right thread to say this, but there's one car that I miss from GT1 &2.. and it is GTO/3000GT LM with 7-speed 'box. imagine what kind of speed that thing could do in GT4.. 
atleast 900 bhp and 7 speed.. it could rival Skyline GT-R Concept racecar!

i kno this has probably been discussed already... but i'm really short on time cuz i just rented GT4 for the weekend.
1) with the 10gran you start off with... what do you guys think would be the best car to get??
2) and if i do transfer the credits from GT3 and end up with 110gran... what car would you guys recommend me to start off with??
3) what if i just start off with the 10gran and i run into deep s**t later on in the game... can i transfer the GT3 credits then, or do i have to do it at the beginning of the game?

Could someone tell me the best car to win the British GT car cup, as i'v tried everything and i can't seem to win..
hey i looked around and didnt see any threads about this, but have any of you guys tried tuning any of your cars strictly for drag races?
i bought the '62 Buick Special and put about $150,000-$200,000 into it and sat and tweaked it all day and got it to do about 9.03-9.05 second runs on the 0-400 drag strip.
any of you other guys have any best times? im sure you could kick the hell out of my 9 seconds with a JGTC car or an open prototype but i wanted to stick to the oldschool muscle kind of drag. its kind of dissappointing that they didnt go very deeply into drag racing in GT4. granted i do like circuit racing a whole lot more but sometimes i wish the drag mode was a bit more in depth and i wish you could tune your car a bit finer when it comes to straight line racing.

my fastest 1/4 mile time was 6.23 in a red viper...more than 900 hp, and it didnt even have all the weight reductions...i used 100% power NOS tho...i put the SS tires onj it, and it takes off like a wrx or an EVo...the top speed is like 289 or something, and thats on the sarthe...didnt think to bring it on the test track.
Does anybody here know as to where i could find that funky theme played in teh GT Auto section of gran Turismo 4? I am trying deperatly to find it with no success, any ideas where i could find it? Thanx in advance.
