Thanks. At 95.xx% complete, I already went through the manufacturer cups. I guess I just forgot to do the Vette races.

If this is a place for minor questions, then what is meant by a 'DTM' car? I know in the aftermarket this is 'dual tipped muffler', but what does it mean when people refer to it on this board?

DTM means: Deutsche Tourwagen Meisterschaft
German for German Touringcar Championship
Cars like the Opel Astra, Audi and Mercedes Touringcars compete there.

So it's a racing class in Germany...

I have to correct you :P : 'Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft' is how they called it between 1984 and 1995. The current DTM championship is called 'Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters'. I don't know why they changed the M in an English word (maybe to get people from more countries than just Germany).

A Sileighty is a Nissan 180SX with a Nissan Silvia's headlights and front bumper installed, hence the 'Sil' in front and the 'eighty' rear. The car is popular because it is less costly to replace a Silvia's front than a 180SX's.

I dint wont to make a new thread so i put it here:
WHAT IS BETTER:
Shelby 1 series supercharged
OR
Spyker laviotte.

My opionion, the Spyker Laviotte...Since the Dutch are great engineers and the car is so damn sexy! But if it doesn't handle as good as you want it too all you need is some transmission and body adjustments.

Yep a sileighty is a silvia front end and a 180SX rear end.

Nissan also did it the other way around too.

A OneVia is a 180SX front end with a Silvia rear end. These are not available in GT4 though...

I got a green one from the used lot, and also saw a silver one... so patience is the key (or bronze on S licence) :)

Also, can someone clarify the buttons to speed up the setting adjustment sliders? Everybody says L2 and R2, but they don't work. I tried L1 and R1 as well. I have ghost mapped to L2, NOS to R2, gear stick to up and down, change view to R1, rear view to L1.

I have GT4 PAL. :)

Man...I havnt played GT4 in ages...but I finally got around to playing it again...RUSTY (did nurb in a 600 HP RX-7 in 7 minutes...which is alright) A minute on deep forest...

Oh the memories...

I'm back

HELP

Sorry to post it here, but I didn't knew where else..

I came home and tried to start my PS2, but it gave a 'disc read error' with GT4 in it. Now, when I try to open the disc-loader, it comes out with a speed that is way to fast, it's totally insane. The PS2 now goes open and closen way TOOOO fast. What should I do 'bout it? Anyone else got this problem so far? Thanx for replying and sorry for my bad English...

i want to buy a skyline and a rx7.

but i'd like to know which is the better street skyline when fully modded (power to weight ratio wise). i'm thinking the vspec nur? or the vsepcII? i don't even know if the vspec is better than the nspec. just incase the white skyline with the carbon hood is the fastest, what's the second fastest because i don't like that one.

same for the rx7, which is the fastest street rx7? in gt3 it was the rz i think. and now in gt4 i see spirit type a, type r, bathursomethinganother, and then another in the mazda new car section... i'm confused

hi i would like that gran turismo 5 the cars FF could be challengers becose the FF car are to slow nobody can compete with a ff car for example the honda integra turing car 300hp is slowest 2.5seconds than the alteza 300hp turing car and in the true life is almost the same

I'd go for the Skyline GTR M-Spec and keep it stock. I recently bought it and it is a fantastic car.

what's the difference between the m-spec and v-spec?

and i don't want to keep it stock. so which is the fastest rx-7 and skyline power to weight ratio wise after being fully tuned? is it the '93 rz? or the one in the mazda new cars? and for the skyline?

M Spec being the luxury trim and Victory Spec ....well you already know.

Man is it mean or does this make PD look cheap?=Looks like PD was trying to save money so they used tape to mount camera's lol.Sourcelook under environmental element/Behind the scenes/tsukaba.Hmmm I wonder if thats why some courses are JuMpY when you start (SSR5)?

SSR5's perfectly fine for me in any races I start, it's not jumpy. The camera's are there to film the track, they're high quality camera's to get a high quality film. What do you think they did, bolted them onto the car? I doubt the owner would be too pleased.
