Can someone with some photoshop skills and a USB stick complete that pic with a GT4 shot?

Trail mountain with a mustang cobra.

👍

Or maybe that GT4 pic was done in photomode so it's got full screen AA ;), GT4 does look better but the difference between 4 and 3 isn't huge, 3 was already better looking than any othe racing game on the PS2.

GT2 always suprises me though. It looks pretty damn good for a Playstation game, or at least it does in that small screenshot. Not only that, but the tracks weren't much different between the second and third looking at it from here. I still say GT2 was the best GT game.

There was no monkey in GT2 then!

GT3 looks a bit wider. And why does the cars tachometer go so much higher?

So your saying try and get the shots as nearest to GT4 shots with some photoshoping.

No, I believe he means can someone take a GT4 Photomode picture of this exact scene and then (using a photo-editting package such as Photoshop) physically complete the picture by tagging the GT4 pic onto the bottom of the existing pic, such that he has one single collage with a GT2, GT3 and GT4 screenshot.

edit: Moved this out of the main GT4 forum, with a re-direct...

edit 2: what version of GT3 is that?? I notice the "Time Limit" in the bottom-right hand corner...

No contest between a screen capture of a pre-release GT3 demo and a high res photomode image of GT4. For those who believe that GT3 graphics are second rate, run a few laps in the RGT on Trial Mountain, watch the replay and you’ll see that although GT4 has more realistic/subdued colours, the textures are reasonably similar. It’s also of note that GT3 car models (such as that very Mustang) have been carried over to GT4 without alteration. I should also point out that the GT2 image was snapped on PS2 with the ‘smooth’ polygons option switched on. Play GT2 on PS1 and it looks very different.

I don’t have access to a PS2 at the minute, so I’ve tacked on hispeed’s quickie.

Wow, I never noticed a difference before... I wonder why some of the GT2 cars didn't get transferred... That tree looks better in GT2 than GT3 lol!
