I have 20/20 vision, the car model looks ok by its arcade standards but compared to gt4, it's sad. The car looks dull, it just does not look realistic. Don't get pissed because your opinion doesn't flow with me, if you think that crappy arcade game looks better good for you. Don't let me mess you day up because it's sad and shows you aren't sure about your opinion; you think about kid.
 
Sorry buddy but that isnt, obviously it looks sharper then it really is as its been shrunk, but the game really does look like that. Play the demo and see, it's incredible looking. The detail is just utterly mind blowing.

I have get flamed, but I don't care. In my opinion, GT4 doesnt look that great. Theres a 50% chance I wont even buy it... :rolleyes:

Cobra, we have been doing that too you for the past month or so. Plus all my opinions are based on ACTUAL EXPERIENCES,I have actually played pgr2 in some form, and I know first hand that it looks incredible. You think it's a render, fine, but your wrong, and when you see it running on a tv, you will see! ho ho!

Ok for once and for all this is a GT forum so we don't give a fecal trashy damm about PGR2 here, you want to talk about that game and tell how it's the best racing game on the planet well go on a forum proper to that game and the people there will agree with your statements. End of discussion.
 
Can a mod close this thread, Cobra and Kev need to take this crap to private messenger.

PGR2 and GT4 both look great, but GT4 is clearly better since its more realistic. End of story.

PGR2 looks ace, If I had and X-Box I'd buy it, no doubt. But honestly though, I'd still prefer GT4 graphics, even knowing they are less detailed, because of the excelent use of reflections, shadows, sfx...

Oh, yeah, one last thing: PGR2 runs at half the frame rate that GT4 runs at... PGR2: 30 fps, GT4: 60 FPS

Imagine GT4 running at 30 fps. Not so good IMO but the amount of detail would be much higher.

Personally I think PGR2 could look even better given the fact the framerate was dropped to 30.

Just my opinion
 
true, the 30fps thing was annoying, but you don't notice it while playing. Pgr2 certainly isnt the best looking racing game ive seen, that goes to rallisport 2 atm from what ive seen of it. And yes, I still think gt4 will be the best game over all.

If pgr2 is that good it will have to dethrone GT3 first before getting a shot at GT4.

GT2 was better than MSR
GT3 was better than PGR
GT4 has a 75% chance of being better than Pgr2

This week will know where PGR2 will satnd.

askia u should TRY the game, then see how it looks and plays. As it stands I expect PGR2 to be the best racing game out until GT4 is released. And GT2 better then msr...can't say I agree with that! Gt2 was abit choppy tbh. Gt3 and concept were better then PGR 1 though, that, I agree with.

Both me and Code Kev have played PGR2, as I've always said, I think GT4 will be the better game, but it really does look as good as that "render" and yes Ralli sport 2 lookes even better although I've only seen pics of that. GT4 looks great and is the best looking game on PS2 and better than anything I've so far seen on GC:lol: :lol: , but the X Box and PC both have better looking games than the PS2 is capable of making, the fps of PGR2 isn't an issue, if you concentrate on noticing it you will, but when your racing you don't notice it at all, and Cobra you go around telling people it's sad to flame others yet you were the first person to flame anyone over this graphics issue, I'm okay not using insults as long as you refrain from them as well.

To sum it up GT4 is not the best LOOKING racing game on any console so far, but it will be the best to play.
 
Personally, i think the level of detail in GT4 is much better than PGR 2 by far, it feels as though the game is made with love and u can see it...

I DID try the game, it still wont be as good as GT4. It was good but not what i suspected.

Also most did not hail MSR being the greatest racer, nor PGR1.
As it stands now GT3 is the best racer on any platform.

The reviews on PGr2 are coming in, and there good yet it is to early to tell, if it is better than gt3

yeah but I loved it, and that's what matters to me. It was very original.

Lets all be friends! I love both games too bits, and I'm gonna have an utter blast playing them both!!
