But you already knew they were ****e, as was shown in the promotional screenshots.

Next?

I never said I never knew they would look crap... I saw the news section on the day they announced this pack. So please tell me what your point is.....

I'm explaining why I'm dissapointed. Why make the interior look like that... Id call it half baked but that would be a joke.

Near on Lazy. PD needs to up the quality!

As for the whole tracks debate.... I cant say I'm too fussed. However it wouldve been nice to throw all the old tracks in. I have a feeling they having them sitting on a disc someone waiting to release them in their next DLC.

Wish people would stop making excuses for PD lol. Makes you sound pathetic!

PD better release the old GT track on the next big update rather than put it in DLC. :grumpy:

I would not say 2.0 is a disappointment as maybe we expected too much and drove ourselves frenzy with anticipations. I am sure we all had our preferences. But to pay that much for a DLC I don't think its worth it.

Moaners gonna moan. 👍

2.0 is great, enough said.
Everything was announced before 2.0 was released so we all knew what to expect. I'm happy, 12 more cars for free + tons of new functions and fixes and FINALLY better online restrictions! 👍 👍 👍

What is too much?

So it's my first post here on GT Planet and it's already a complain about this update !

The only thing I bother is the Replay-editor / Control functions. Like in GT4 there was such a easy and good way to time your moment.... Very special photo's where possible about this feature.

I don't get it why it's so hard for PD to put this old and already known feature in GT5. And most of all, I think it's the perfect content to make GT5 such a better game on the Internet. The use of the photomode in replays in GT4 was so much fun to make that shot with sparks, flames out of the exhausts and hopping around over curbstones...

It isn't possible without a good replay editor. That's my only disappointment.

About the tracks. I think we can expect more tracks in the near future. Probably (it's just a guess) I think the original GT tracks would be free for us. Yamautchi isn't that proud with DLC where we have to pay for and I think he isn't that guy to let us pay for the Original tracks extra, where we played many hours before.

Sorry for my poor English... :nervous:

lolwat?
Don't buy it then, simple as that. 👍

I yearn disappointment. In fact I yearn it so much, instead of giving the game up like one should, I'm going to stick around just in case there is more disappointment in the future. Thinking about it, that's pretty much like everyone else who shares my yearning for disappointment.

Strange that. ;)

I sure love me some dissapointment.

Makes me feel ohhh so dissapointed!

It actually does, this is a free content update in this day and age where most publishers push for DLC, you could be sure if this wasn't PD you'd have paid for a lot of the updates you got. I'd say for a free update this is a great thing to have support for the game. Nobody's forcing you to use the cockpit view on standard cars if you don't want to use it. Having more options is always something better :)

Correct if this was EA we would have another $50 into the game by now.... but ohh wait I forgot its a year later they don't even support games for that long!

Without even downloading it yet, I am not disappointed. A lot of tweaks and new stuff is released. I think that's awesome. I cannot wait to go home and check it out.

I must say as expected a lot of you guys complain or are disappointed. Just take it as it is. Don't expect anything from PD. There is always something that isn't quite as you'd like it to be. You can't change it..... move on. Or enjoy reality.

I mean, now that everything is revealed new wishes are already posted. Speculations and hopes of more dlc tracks are written on this forum. What's up with that? Why can't people nowadays enjoy something? Slow down, take a deep breath and relax and take your time.

Valid point.... Who does support games for longer than a year these days!?

Update great.

DLC terrible. Spa is great, but 1 track and a joke of a car pack after 1 year? Will there be new a-spec content its what the game really needs.

Overall, I'm happy with the update and what they've included and fixed. But whatever they did to the seasonals, it has really put me off the game for now.

Only beef I have is G27 wheel mappings being off a bit. The upper left red button on the wheel is actually swapped with the far left red button on the shifter pad thing...

Only companies that release half baked game content and haven't kept up with the times. PD isnt supporting GT5 still because they love you lol. They know the game is incomplete and flawed and they NEED to continue to support it because they need to remain relevant and keep people interested in their out of touch simulator. GT5 is all they have to compete with Forza.

F4 will pull a lot of us real car fans. I'm done expecting anything great from PD as far as GT5 is concerned. 2.0 is ok by current PD standards but it's not enough for me. I'll still play GT5 from time to time as it does have it's charm but I have no emotional attachment to it like I did with the previous GT's. PD continues to leave me scratching my head with every update.

For example, they claim to listen to the fans so why didn't PD employ the seamless A/B Spec integration from GT4 that we asked for instead of the lame 2.0 implementation? Simple, efficient and proven solution for marathon endurance races. We ask for Alms e.g. Premium sports cars but we get 11 NASCARS lol.

Disappointed... Nope! I can't wait until I get back from work to really dive into fully.

Credit where credit is due.

I have no praise what so ever for GT5 at the moment. Alot of these feats shouldve been available from day one. A year on and all we get is pitch black interior for standard cars. GT Fan boys would have a field day if Forza pulled a stunt like that lol.

But because its on GT5 the fan boys are smilling saying things like this is exactly what they wanted... And that theyll now start to use standard cars lol.

Some people on here crack me up!

As for Forza I've never really been a fan of it... Probably because I dont own an XBOX. However, one cant deny that the game looks good (not as good as GT5 but still very good). Doesnt it have like 500 detailed (every car has an interior view) cars!?

Wheresas GT5 offer 200+ great detailed cars and 800 or so Standard Def cars with pitch black interior.... This wouldve passed back in the late '90's....

Look, i'm one of the biggest nay-sayers of GT5 here and i'm having a hard time coming up with complaints about this new update. It finally feels like GT5 is complete, or at least as complete as it's ever going to get. All I want now is to know what the Track DLC is going to contain.

Spa , and a kart track that seems fun on acid or some psychedelic, it has two layouts, + reverse. I imagine though, that more DLC's will be made available in the future. I mean, where is the logic of including a dlc button if it's just a one time thing, plus you can get all dlc content for a measly $12usd. If I were pd I would release dlc 4 times a year. Hopefully next dlc will include super gt pack, throw in sugo, autopolis, and motegi would = driving nirvana.

If you're looking for a more realistic physics model in fm4, then you're really gonna be disappointed, I was. You can tell the game is made to be played with a game pad.

The only thing I don't like is that PD lowered the reward credits for the online event races. I don't understand why they did that. :( I'm just glad I got all of that grinding out of the way in advance, but i'm still missing the two Ferrari F1 cars. The Ferrari 1 lap Le Mans race is still the best money maker, but now its only like 160,000 credits, instead of 502,000.

Not disappointed with the 2.0. Can't care less about standards, so cardboard dash or not wouldn't make any difference to me.

Main things I wanted were mid-race saves and proper playback controls for replays. And I'm getting them for free.

I am however very disappointed (but not surprised) when I read the DLC car list. Will definitely buy Spa. Just not sure if I'm going to buy all-in-one or tracks only. PD can shove their paint chips where they belong.
