Just my two cents: the website is AWESOME and extremely helpfull. I only need 7 more cars, for my list to be complete (I excluded stealth models, since I cannot get them). Just a big THANK YOU, Milouse for serving us with such a great page.

And I would like to add my vote for adding a field for multiple cars owned. That would be just great.

And one small thing - if possible. Is it possible to add a way for 'print/export to pdf/something similar' list of cars on screen without car data. Just manufacturer, make and year?

When I look at friend's car list I see only owned cars by him. When I try to see missing cars in his list the result is missing cars in my list...need to fix ))
 
It came to my attention that this is the support thread for GT5's Car DB (myGranTurismo.net) and may have some minor suggestion for the website.

Possibility to cancel or modify account details and for account details i mean email-address (for now).

Any change this can be added?

Not yet, but i may address your problem manually, please email to the address given to the website's contact page.
 
Love the database, refer to it almost daily. Thank you VM!

Any chance you can add filters to the search. When I'm looking for cars I like to input several parameters, such as:
Max HP and Minimum weight.

Couple of suggestions to improve the site

Ability to add more than one version of the same car. I have multiple cars in different colours.

Could you change the Events and Prize car list page so that you can quickly add cars you own in. On the main cars list page there is an 'I Own' button, I think you should add that to the events\prize page as well.
 
I've just made some changes on "myPage" (the page you usually share your garage by), with a few detailed garage stats, PSNid, and the GT5 ingame driver image you can now set in your Preferences.
You can also click on a country on details stats to see cars by country on main car list. :)

I see your point. This wasn't planned, i could - and i do - tell you i put that on todo list, but it is a long one...

weight and power (only on PS-like unit) filters exists, but are not documented.
Adding &max_kg=1000 to the url in the main car list will show only cars less than 1000 kg.
The power is a bit more tricky to use, as the db power tend to be the oil changes / engine overhauled one, hence could be highe than the actual power the cars you own.
You can still play with the &max_ps=350 parameter, but at your own risk :scared:

Should be:

As i wanted to keep the thing as simple as before for tag/untag cars as owned (that was the all challenge^^), if you don't use this multiple car feature, you won't see the difference.
To add one more car when you already own one, just hold down the mouse bouton 0.5 second instead of just clicking. Simple clik would reduce number of cars by one.

Also, Models now stand for "different car models", and your Cars = sum of (each model x nb you own).

It could be me (not be able to find the function) but i had problems finding the proper car in the database, is there a possibility to have a overall/global search function, such as search every car name with R34 in it.

When i wanted to select a car the following way:
Select: Events & Prized Cars
Select model you want to add gives above result.
The text: Turn this image 'on' by a clic if you own this model.
Hold on button 0.5 sec. to add another car.

Is shown horizontal and vertical.

BUT when selected true My Garage it is shown OK.

Browser: Chrome

No problem, one question.

When i select car overview, all cars. I can sort cars by name make, year etc

When i select for example name it gets sorted from z -> a (descending) i expected when i select it again it would be a- > z (ascending) but it didn't.

Any reason for it ?

Maybe a fun feature is adding view stats (how many viewers visited my page) on personal pages, just an idea.

Don't know if you're wanting corrections, but the MGF '97 is made by MG, not MINI. I love the work you've put in!

I've just corrected it today in the other way based on screenshots I have, but it may have been taken before patches. Is your game up to date ? (1.05)

I don't know what the game said before 1.05, but I am up-to-date with 1.05, and my game says the '97 MGF is made by MG. I don't know how to do a screenshot, but that's what it says.
