Yeah, very friendly. Attacking people, while you're being misinforming and ignorant to what was and wasn't "promised" in the game, and telling them they should be playing forza
I had the answer and I gave it to him. I said if the cars are advertised as CF then they will be CF.
I never said to go outside of the GTP walls to get the info. Nice try though.
I suggest we drop this as I don't deal with hypocrisy too well.

The only thing making me look stupid is not being wise enough to stop replying to you. But I'm fighting fire with fire except mine isn't based in my imagination.

That photo above was NOT the list of PROMISED features, but tentative list of acomplishments PD WOULD like to meet for GT5 game back in 2006.

Looking at that list, they've acomplished a miracle.

But, nothing on that picture were PROMISED, so restrain from wrong contextualisation and accusations on wrong foundations.

This was discussed 2 months ago when the photos were released. There is nothing to recreate, they just make a paint scheme that looks like CF and make the car with that scheme.

I didn't post a link cause I didn't want to spend time looking for it. Why should I waste my time when he didn't want to waste his? Instead he just based his question on a tiny picture he found somewhere. If the advert says CF but it looks just black to you, would you not be a bit curious and try to get to the bottom of it yourself as opposed to running to a message board and waiting and waiting while others find it for you?

After reading your responses I am glad to know that you have wasted your precious time arguing with someone over my question instead of simply saying "yes" it is carbon fiber. Thanks alot fellow GTP member. It makes me feell all giddy inside.

I did try to get to the bottom hence finding the site that quoted it. And how do you know that I didn't try to research it before posting my question. Were you sitting beside me at my computer holding my hand.

I asked simply because I couldn't find a picture in big enough size to answer my own question.

We aren't here to run errands for people who are too lazy to do it themselves. This site has more info about GT specifically than just about any other one out there. It isn't hard to search, either with the search bar up in the top right, or plain old Google.

You sure it wasn't 2007? Any sources that say his was just a speculative "hoping to have this done" list? Not that I don't believe you but as you can see, taking other member's posts as fact gets me into a bit of predicaments. I've tried looking but all I found is sites, assuming jumping to conclusions, stating these will be supported GT5 features.

How hard is it to go to the COLLECTORS EDITION thread and just search for CARBON. Or even just searching for CARBON in the GT5 board?

Like I said I did a search and all I found were the black cars and I couldn't find one that looked like carbon fiber.

Sorry to piss on your fire, but as I have repeatedly pointed out, and others apparently agree, that image does not show a list of promised features for the game. It is simply a wish list of things they would like to include in the series, with yes, GT5 in mind. Maybe you should bear this fact in mind before being all confrontational and accusing me of the one being unhelpful and causing arguments.

Now what did you say about looking stupid?

And yes, it was indeed at the Tokyo Game Show 2006 and a GTHD presentation.

Woah, now, you said it once and that's after Amar posted his info. If they put it down on "paper" and showed it to the world as something they are working on, then , yes, they wanted it in the game. So yes, it wasn't promised, but it was supposed ot be part of the game.
As for being confrontational and accusatory, maybe you should go back and see how this whole crap storm started.
As I said before, end this as I know we both will get in trouble.

Don't think you'll be able to send a LE car to a non LE owner of the game mate. If that's what your thinking.
 
Well the thing is, I preordered the CE which comes with the Mclaren Stealth. Problem is, I'm not a big fan of the Mclaren F1.
 
I'm not a big smiley user. Most of the ones I wanna use I would have to make myself.

I have just recieved an email from Game UK saying that Signature edition has been delayed by 2 days!

Has anyone read this anywhere else? I am hoping they are mistaken.
 
robie i have two versions ordered from game the normal and my girlfriend ordered me the sig edition.

we both got the email. aparently it has something to do with major game releases being forced in the UK towards the weekend???

just a thought guys!! if it is forced to the 5th from game and people have ordered it with 1 day delivery they MIGHT get it on a saturday or be forced to wait until monday. if people order with the standard 2-4 day delivery it could be the following wednesday/thursday???!?!
