I pre-ordered in Belgium at my shop and they said i will get a special edition,
although they don't know anything about it.. weird

May I know which shop? If they have a website and ship nationwide that is. Not going to Gent to pick up my copy

preordered mine last night....once best buy has it on their website, I will preorder from there to get the reward zone points and since I am in the gamers club, every 150 dollars in games nets you a 10 dollar gift card on top of regular reward zone points...so for now its gamestop just to make sure I have a copy.

i upgraded my regular pre-order to the collectors edition just a couple hours ago and it does not matter about that news of the standard cars im still getting it no matter what.

However I will still get it

Thers nothing I can do. It will still be an amazing game and well worth the price. In fact 1,000 "premium" cars would be robbery at just $60 a pop

Theres nothing we can do, yes PD was lazy and should have had included way more content, but I have a feeling alot of that tme was spent with the new physics engine and online. I have a feeling the new physics and online will make up ALOT for the lack of premium cars.

So im preordering tomorrow

No, ebgames is here in the states as well. Gamestop bought them some years back. I ordered from them as well a couple of days ago.

For the Gamestop.com pre order, are they capable of same day shipping for release date? And if so, does it cost an arm and a leg?

there's a code for free overnight shipping. But even then it's 1 days for shipping and 1 day for processing.

I pre-ordered my copy of the collector's edition today at Game Stop. Because the retail is $99, they require a $10 deposit instead of the usual $5 for regular games. I am the first person to pre-order the CE at my local Game Stop. I'm not making the same mistake I made with God of War 3 where I waited too long and ended up having to buy the collector's edition off of eBay. I still can't believe it's only $99 for everything that comes with it. I would have easily paid more than double for everything in the package...
