Actually, I'm starting to think that the 5 car voucher you get with the CE is for the 5 cars you get for pre-ordering from various stores.

Anyone found some web store in Europe that we can pre-order it? There was some already (Belgium, Swedem) but the pages are in the countries languages...

Just ordered two for myself! :) The wait is going to be painful...

There is no release date and no confirmation of CE in europe so for now, nowhere. The only place in the US that seems to have it for pre0order is gamestop/ebgames.

Why? Do you seriously think it will be worth something in a few years? I can tell you now, it will be worth something...just not more than what you paid for it (adjusting for inflation).

Yeah, it's the scandinavian site. The EU version of the site seems to only sell movies/CDs and nas nothing but GT5P.

One will get canceled. It will be limited to one per household. All that tells me is the site you got it from, doesn't have any info other than the release date and existence of CE.

Anyone know what cars which vendor will have?
Gamespot is the only site so far with the pre order but it mentions nothing of the car which again tells me they don't have the info yet. At the conference they said retailers will know soon and as it always is with sony, soon can't mean next day.
 
Might be, i have a sealed copy of FF VII, black label. Worth atleast £200-1000+
I'm only buying one, buy not using the goodies,, just collecting so i need to keep it mint

you can now pre-order the collectors ediotion of GT5. ha i already got mine from gamestop. its $100 so not too bad. here is a link for it.

It mentions nothing of the free pre-order car for either the CE or normal version. Makes me wonder if they actually received the info from sony yet or not.

It looks like those places that have pre-orders available, have them as place holders based simply on release date and speculation. So far only gamespot has pre-orders here in the US and I don't think it's "official".

Ok. Amazon(.com) put up the pre-order car (SLS AMG), but they haven't put up the pre-order as far as I know. Guess we will have to wait then. I just want to know as soon as they become available.

I am not waiting this long for GT5 to be denied the Collector's Edition due to putting in my pre-order too late.
 
Correct, they have the normal version for pre-order which will have the same free pre-order car, the SLS.

Ugh. I would be using it right now if Canada's website had actually updated. Still says it's shipping on Sep1, and no mention of the CE edition. Was hoping it'd be up before I go on my trip.

So when you pre-order it on GameStop's website, you have to pay in full up front? And I'm moving to another state in a couple months, wonder if I can update my info later on...

Edit: Says on GS's website that in store pick-up is not available on this item.

It also says that the order won't be processed until shipment is confirmed, as in they have the game and have shipped it. You don't pay on the website, you do pay in store I believe.
 
Having worked for GameStop in the past (and maybe in the future) a reservation is usually taken with at least $5 down. I would do that, however I am moving in a couple months so not sure what I should do here. Don't want to miss out on this.

I still don't feel good about ordering from them. I have a feeling they just put the pre-order up before they got the info from sony. WOuld suck if they got a ton of orders before they found out the allotment they're getting.

Well I'm sure it is first come first serve. Doesn't hurt to put the order in, especially since it is the first day. You are not charged anything until the order ships, so you can always cancel if you decide to order elsewhere.

Yes, but I doubt they'll tell you in time if you're out of luck and by then other stores will also be filled. I have no problem paying up front, I'm just weary that out of all stores, somehow gamestop got all their CE pre-order info ahead of everyone else.
