We'll see, it's my money after all.Yep, you say that now, but when the chance comes to pre-order the CE, you will do.

I never said it wasn't, but I am saying that once you see the CE avaialble for pre-order in EU, you will pre-order it.We'll see, it's my money after all.![]()

The included diecast car is an exclusive 1:43 scale 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V with a custom Gran Turismo livery designed by Polyphony Digital, produced by well-known collectible car maker Kyosho, who have been making some of the best collectible diecast cars for over 20 years. The 300+-page exclusive Collector’s Edition book from Polyphony Digital will be essential reading for GT fans, containing everything from the history of the automobile, to driving techniques, professional racing tips, car and engine basics and tuning know-how, and reference data about Gran Turismo 5. I want to warn you that the Collector’s Edition has a limited run, so pre-order it quickly if you want to guarantee your copy for position, the Stig on the Top Gear test track, and much more. The exciting pre-order program for Gran Turismo 5 offers exclusive and beautiful in-game cars as bonuses, including the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R GT500, McLaren F1, and more. Each car features an exclusive and stylish Gran Turismo-themed “stealth” livery custom-designed by Polyphony Digital, with select performance upgrades over the standard versions of the cars available in the game. Pre-orders offers will be coming soon at participating retailers for both the standard and Collector’s Edition versions.
The 5 cars with the Collector's Edition have not been detailed. It should be assumed that they will be different than the preorder bonus cars. So, if you get the CE and preorder from Gamestop you may be getting seven different cars. So, is anyone else a little confused about these DLC cars?
You get a voucher for 5 DLC cars with custom liveries if you get the CE, but some of the retail places (Amazon, Gamestop, etc) are including these with the purchase of the game.
So, does this mean that whoever gets the CE will get all of the cars that are being offered as exclusive content? But if you do not get the CE, you only get the cars specified for that retailer?
What if the book has cheat sheets for setups. hehe!![]()
They are exclusive in the sense that you don't need to buy x5 copies of the game from x5 different retailers to get all the cars (which would cost you more than just buying the CE)
I know anout the SLS AMG, the GT-R and the McLaren F1, but has anybody else heard what the other two cars will be?

Don't get offended when I say I'll believe it when I see it.
Til someone official says something, I won't choose sides as to what I think the deal with these 5 cars is.
What GT-R? Amazon has the sls and gamestop has the F1, who has the gtr?
I'm not that concerned with the book; if it just has stats and images of the cars, it's really not worth that much. If it has a bunch of insight into the 6-year process of bringing the game into our homes, that'd be interesting. If it has "driving tips", it's still not very useful to me personally since we've had those numerous times.
The DLC cars attract the completist in me, and the car model is worth the extra outlay on its own. Plus I imagine its value can only raise over the years...
I see that you're from toronto, did you preorder your's yet? I would preorder from the states with amazon.com had it already so I could ship it to a shipping depot across the border, but paying brokerage for having gamestop shipping it to canada is nuts
Actually, it said three of the pre-order cars were those. The article that disclosed information about the CE said that 3 of the cars were the SLS, Mclaren F1 and Nissan GTR with two more to be disclosed at a later date.

I see nothing in any official news that tells me that it looks anything like that. what I do see is Internet forums jumping to conclusions and misquoting press releases. Please, be careful. This is how all the GT rumors get started and where all the haters get their "PD LIED!!!" defenses.Because the pre order cars are looking like being the same as the CE cars (Amazon/Gamestop) people including I have assumed that the rest of the cars (or at least some of them) should be pre order cars too.

YES I just preordered off the listing that is available for preorder, thank you amazon for the 10 dollar giftcard from god of war 3 hehehe......so happy I got mines from amazon instead of crapstop.👍
I checked Amazon this morning, saw it still wasn't available, and pre-ordered at my local Gamestop. Oh well, at least I don't have to wait for it to ship.
