it is odd, makes one wonder if the problems are worse than they initially said. They actually did miss the production slot and they wont bother telling us untill its done?

That we should be all humble and thankful for delay and lack of any official information about a new release date just because it is going to be such a great game?
 
Review copies wouldn't be affected by disc mass production, but then they're often based on unfinished code too.
Anyone heard anything solid about review copies being distributed? They should have been handed out by now on the original schedule, and I can't help but think it's something pretty serious. Or perhaps it failed the epilepsy tests like Wipeout HD did.

it's a forum, what do you expect? i'm not that bothered when the games released personally. but before xmas would be nice...

Scouring the internet for scraps of info about GT5's release date will drive you insane! If you're bored you could always read a book or if you're feeling adventurous have a go at making this but if you're feeling really adventurous try this.

There is nothing what so ever anyone on this forum can do about what has happened, so why dwell over it?

Just get on with your lives, and be patient.

Whining is doing nothing except flooding all these useless thread full of crap and nonsense.

We should all expect to see a new release date within the next day or so.
 
FNAC stores in Lisbon started to announce GT5 - "Launch of the year" they claim. They have pre-order boxes for sale, some store decoration about GT5 and a brochure for games with two pages dedicated to GT5 and periphals for the game (playseats, wheels, etc).

The pre-order bonuses from them are the Mazda 787B stealth and the SLS AMG stealth, and they announce on the brochure a forecasted launch date of November, 24th.

Take this with the usual pinch of salt.
 
Just now i speak with my retailer (who has in his site 19 Nov that the GT5 will come) and today change it to just "comming".I call them and they tell me that today they receive an e-mail from sony that the game will be released at Christmas BUT they arent sure (Sony) 100% yet...

I believe he was referring to the announcement of a release day between today/tomorrow. Either me, or you, got his words wrongly.
 
March 2011, wait and see. Seriously though, it was meant to be out by now and there are still no genuine reviews? Embargoed?
 
See now I just got pissed. so they give us holiday season and their not even sure.......I'm thinking they are just gonna postpone gt5 until ps4 comes out, lol and yes I'm venting cause I have no class today, and guess what no game either. So I can be as mad as i want because I'm a little frustrated.. Jeeze October ended on Sunday and do I have a release date.......nope I don't. I'm done venting :)

The next issue of official playstation magazine due out on Wednesday 24th November is meant to have a GT5 review in it. If the new release date has been announced by then and if it'll be out in December then I would assume any review embargo's will be in place until the magazine is on the shelves.
