You're saying that the same car has different patterns on each side. It doesn't.

I also dont see a difference on both sites.

There isn't one. If you look at post 4221, he's mistaken the air duct as black paint and thinks it's a different pattern.

Except they are both real-life paint schemes that can be seen in promotional photos for the real car.

Actually, looking at it more, this could be one paint scheme with slightly different styles on the left and right sides of the same car.

With further looking: Yep.

Same car from my first pic, different angle.

Pic 1 and pic 3 were the exact same car, pic 2 is the same car, but it looks to me like its missing a bit of the livery, in the form of some grey-ish areas infront of the airduct on the left side of the car.

Compare pics 1 and 3, ignore pic 2.

He's not mistaken the air duct for black paint... there is some livery infront of the air duct that isn't in pic 1 or pic 2. Looking closely it looks like the number "2". Either that or its a strange looking shadow.

There is a difference from one side to the other, but it's only in the lettering . The "G" on the drivers side (right side) is close to the wheel and is painted over red, while in the opposite (left) side, the "G" appears painted over white, betwwen the door and the vertical air vent.

It's the same livery though, only the lettering does give both sides of the car a slightly different "look".

Looks like a shadow of a person. Look at the shadow on the ground, leading towards the rear wheel then continues on the car.
He was talking about the BLACK on the rear quarter, not the shadow.

I dont see a difference, just different light reflections.

Hahahah about the same time FM4 is going to be announced and subsequently released hahahaha

Seriously though, I would be furious if they pulled this crap

that "shadow" near the vent doesn't even make physical sense....

see the vent? Right in front of it

to add more insult forza 3 is already in DLC stages and they already plan to make another game this year, when will this game ever be launch ?
Just finish the game PD please dont add to many features to the point it is taking forever. the problem is they are adding so many features which me might not need or just make the game overwhelming. not all technology that come out needs to be added. To many cooks will spoil the food.

Trees with additional polygons or making them more presentable not cardboard cut outs for shooting gallery is not that complicated. honestly it is taking them so long to the point that this might be candidate for GOTY 2011

I've been thinking, we should have a pallet (or otherwise generous quantity) of energy food/drinks sent to the PD HQ. A gift from loyal fans to help speed things along. Just get hold of some members in Japan to coordinate it and we all pitch some money to them via paypal?

At first I thought to send some beer, but surely it would have the opposite effect.

Good idea Fredzy, i got a stash of apple cider here.I wonder if KY-san & team likes cider. What about roast beef, yorkshire pudds, gravy, salad & apple sauce, i'm sure the industrious little peeps wouldn't mind this :).And fish, chips, mushy peas & gravy 💡.They will need loads of coffee & Lucozade too.

I say bug testing is either already going on, or is done. He said they were just polishing now, the game doesn't need to be 100% done to find the bugs.

I quoted myself, so I know others can read it. Get excited already!

I say we are going to have to get a retail copy before we actually know 100% what's what with the tracks.

Thats the first time he didn't say "locations with variations".

More importantly, nobody can say there will only be 20 tracks if they plan on 70.

Well in their article Kaz didn't say that in their interview, it was more of a very brief summary of the contents of the game. I assume the Paper just used the given info and interpreted as they saw fit.

The name of the article is
"'Gran Turismo' creator talks and test drives latest model".

Just because they didn't quote him, doesn't mean he didn't say it. USA Today didn't make that number up, and they didn't claim to interview anyone else.

OK friend, I am from America, What the hell are Yorkshire pudds and Mushy peas-n gravy? What exactly is in your cider? Lucazade? Sending them a care pacage is a cool Idea though. Sorry I have probably had one too many!

From the USA Today article:

Talk a bit about what players will experience when they get to play the game.

I created the first Gran Tursimo back in 1997 (for the original PlayStation). Back then, it kind of set a new standard for the style for car racing games. This Gran Turismo 5 is going to change all that now. It will change the style of car games in the future. It will be creating a new standard for the genre.

In what manner?

The entire game design and you might be able to say the functionality of the game. I think it would be expressed better if you just say the entire game design.

Well, I guess I'm going to be hyped up until this crazy thing ships...

It doesnt suprise me at all that GT5 has been delayed. From what we have seen so far it only looks like 30-40% of the game is done. We have only seen about 100 cars from the 1000 claimed to be included and lots of promised features have not even been seen yet. That and the original damage model was quite poor so they are going to have to overhaul that aswell.

I would rather they take all the time they need. I want them to do the best job possible and not get into this 'release now patch later' culture. I recon we will see it released near the end of 2010 maybe for the holiday season.

Robin.
