From that view, the reflection is indeed wrong. But for the purposes of gameplay, it's fine. It's one of the few things they've purposely tried not to 'simulate'. The mirror never actually 'reflects' anything, rather it's just an output frame that displays another view.
But they call themselves perfectionists![]()

Again wrong. If that was the case then the option would say auto shift not automatic transmission. The game gives the option for an automatic transmission. It does not say "we will just shift for you" now does it?
AT/MT is what people recognise right away and is a very compact way of listing the option. Rather than as you say
"Auto shift - we will shift for you"
and
"Manual shift - you do the shifting but we will still control the clutch, unless you have a clutch supported wheel and press triangle!"
MT and AT will do just fine.
I dropped this arguement hours ago because even a mod came on and posted his false thoughts and I suppose that if they say it then it is like the word of God or something. I know that in GT2-3- and 4 that if you used a controller that you could hold (which button I don't remember) and the car would not shift until you let go of it, letting you get the most out of every gear. That said GT has always had the option of AT,AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION(not auto shift) and MT,manual transmission. I really don't care what all these people here say because it is obvious they are dillusional and aren't as knoledgable as I first thought they were. Nobody here is going to convince me that AT in the game means that the game just shifts your gears for you. So lets all just drop the subject because at this stage it is just pointless.
You're the only one complaining about the exact meaning of two letters when the function in game is obvious and you're calling all of us dillusional...... nice going.
It seem that I am the only one that actually knows the meaning of those two little letters! The rest of you are just making crap up as you go! Now just drop it.
Have you played any other racing games?
Nobody is making crap up, it's a fact that most games do it this way. If you don't want to acknowledge it than prepared to be disappointed.
I play with MT but the vid is in AT and the animation is wrong, that is all I was saying.
The only thing comical is your argument. For all of you to try to explain why the animation is correct is just comical.
Famine & false thoughts? Not dissapointed at all thank you. If you believe that AT means that the game shifts a manual transmission for you then that is ok. I do not choose to conform to that belief, and that is my perogitive. Please lets all just drop this discussion. I am not going to see it your way and you are not going to see it mine, and that is more than ok.

The animation isn't wrong. Every car in the game is set up to be in the most race-ready mode. In this case, the Spec-V is in the mode where you shift with the paddles, not it's basic city-cruise-mode.
Your argument is just full of holes. If choosing AT means the car shouldn't show shifting animations, how do you expect the Ford GT to work? Or the Ferrari Enzo?
Jay is correct. The game shifts for you when you select AT. The game will tell the driver animation when to have his hand shift the gear level or hit the paddles. MT leaves it up to you when the driver's hand animation is to shift.
The only thing comical is your argument.
Famine & false thoughts? Oh, this is gonna be good.
I just find it amusing you call people dillusional (people a.k.a everyone here but you), state "aren't as knoledgable as I first thought they were" and tell us we're making up crap. No one here has made comments like that to you but then you tell us to drop it all the time....![]()
cletus sorry, but you cant say "thats my opinion" to everything.
OK every body, like I said before, I choose not to see it your way and you all choose not to see it mine. So why do you all choose to try to prove your point to me. If I said the sky is blue then you guys would come on here telling me it is yellow and I would choose not to believe you and you would not believe me and that is what these forums are for but you can not force your beliefs to become mine.
Why not? Should I post my opinion as fact like some others do around here?
They're not our beliefs, they're facts.OK every body, like I said before, I choose not to see it your way and youall choose not to see it mine.
