I totally agree. The 190e is lonely without its rival, the E30. :nervous:

I wonder... will there be premiums in the used car lot. Id imagine the E30 M3 would be a premium. The 190e I would imagine is standard, it wasnt in the mercedes benz section along with a lot of cars, I mean does that mean you will see cars like the benz patent motor wagon in used car dealership :nervous:

Nope, just checked again and there are definately standards in Dealerships.

This M5 at 8:20 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7MflA0sgsg) for example is standard (black tinted windows).

M5 is Premium - we have seen cockpit gameplay on the topgear track.

Look, if you find a place that Ferrari refers to the Enzo as F60, I'll concede, but you can't.

Whether ferrari refer to it as the f60 or not is not important...not to me anyway. It is known as the enzo/f60 to most people. I myself call it the enzo...enough of the debate anyway, fact is I can't prove it to you like you want, but I know it's true so this is pointless.

Holy Crap they made 60 mil off GT5P?

Well Prologue was hybrid of GT4 but with GT5 graphics. I dare say they spent less then 2 or 3 months on the actual game itself. Everything was there, they just had to slap it together so there was virtually no production costs with a max probably 2-3 million. The game has sold something like 5 million copies. Now if Sony are only making $20 aud of each game 'retailed for 60 here', thats still 100 million dollars, without even taking into account the amount of consoles and TV's sold because of it.

I'd say prologue brought in between 120 and 150 million to SCE.

People see sales numbers, but with games like Gran Turismo, you can't just count sales as the definitive total of the games worth. Its a console selling game and with 3D integration, a TV selling game as well. With GT i'd expect Sony to shift between 2-3 million consoles, and probably 100,000 TV's.

No, it isn't, it's a Premium car.

Then why are the windows black? Can see through the windows of all other cars shown, but not this M5.

Edit: Just checked again, can see through side windows for some reason, but not through front. Not sure why it's so dark now..

Porsche hands down. The game is merely incomplete without the marque. I mean, how can there be a "what if" scenario of Le Mans without Porsche?

Ah yes of course I should've thouht of that sooner. Get Porsche in first then Ferrari's later. Still no confirmation on Bugatti either I'd be thrilled to even see the standard one let alone the Supersport. I'd love to see a few GT2 RS' and some 997's :) Another idea would be to make premium models of all standard cars originally implemented in the game. Then have the option to buy the premium model of any car on PSN.

The BMW M5 is premium. We saw it at Gamescon. Anyway, it makes no sense to separate the premiums and standards when buying. I think the reason some cars are not up are one, because it's a random dealership like in GT PSP, and two, because cars that are not unlocked do not appear in the listings.

Click that little [1], that's called a reference, and on that page F60 is never mentioned. I put the facts out there and so I give up trying to convince you all, not sure any more I could do.

Enough, I can't convince you, or be bothered to, and everyone is irritated now, I stand by my view however

This debate has stopped now, people are annoyed at us, I stand by what I said though...on to gt5.👍

Sure.

GT5:P is part of GT5's development cost (considering GT5:P is just a really early build of GT5).

GT5:P had little to no marketing, and it couldn't cost Sony no more than $10 bucks to stamp and ship disks.
You don't have a clue do you?! For a start, the retailer needs to make a profit, which means the price they buy the game at from SONY is lower than the retail price by quite some margin. Taking into account all the other slices of pie in the supply chain, after taxes I would guess a profit of $10 per unit, tops.

So, while Prologue will have paid off a huge chunk of the overall GT5 development budget, you are way off the mark in stating that it will have been covered at least twice over.

Maybe it has darker tinted windows perhaps? Not all cars use the same tint for the windows in real life and dark or almost black looking windows aren't 100% proof they must therefore be Standard.
I've seen Standard cars with much clearer windows and Premium cars with windows which almost appeared black.
