F40 is premium, it's in the leaked car dealership video.

And does P/S refer to the cars with a premium and standard version i.e. the DB9, if i remember right a slightly newer year was premium whereas the older one was standard.

Perhaps there are still some surprises in store for us. I remember reading something about a 500meg day 1 update that is in the works. Coudl be that there were some issues with a few of the tracks and they disabled them in the initial release? Seems odd that they would show a section of track in a trailer that was not going to be in the game?

Oh well. Still a great selection of tracks and cars. If the online play is good I am sure I will be playing this for a very long time.

Unless there is a patch that was always intended that would basically "enable" all of the disc's content so that if it was leaked, people wouldn't be able to post every car/track in the game.

I think that's grasping at straws though.
 
I don't want to sound ungrateful but the car list is slightly disappointing. With 1000 cars, you would expect some of the most popularto make it in it (I won't even mention standard ones that should have been premium).

I mean come on, no 360 modena? No Diablo? No non-racing GT40? (obviously I could mention a lot more).

500meg update? 👍 Where did you hear about that and any clues as to what it... includes? :confused: (haha that sounded wierd)
 
Geesh last night when I got off here we were at 2900 pages. We almost made it to 3000 before the announcement. But I just saw the front page for the first time this morning and I nearly cried. It can't be I said. But I knew it had to come out the week of Black Friday(U.S). They can't miss those sales. So commercials should hit next week as the one guy from Turkey said. I had faith in you dude. Countdown can start. I will be lined up on the 23rd for midnight to get my copy. GT5 releases and I am on a child birth vacation Nov 17-29, I could not ask for more.

LOL@ you happy for having 46 GT-R but no aston dbs, A LOT of classic ferraris (250 gt, F50 anyone?), no rs5, no new RUFs, no new mercedes other than c-amg and sls.... come on....

They told me they had enough Pre orders to have a midnight released they just needed a date when GT5 was going to be released.

I just called mine. They said "probably" but they weren't certain yet. They're gonna call everyone who has pre-ordered and let them know if they will.

Wow this is pathetic, everyone shouts and screams for a release date, we get that, now everyone complains about the car list that PD so kindly included to try and keep us quiet.

I'm happy. Theres a Fujiwara Tofu shop AE86, thats more than i could have hoped for.

People should look at what we are getting. No other (race) game goes this deep. I don't see ANY reason to complain. Ok , so Spa isn't in. Fine , no Spa. I would like to see it , but I'm not going to complain about it instantly.
This is just unbelievable. Some people are never satisfied. We finally got the release date , and still people are complaining. If you think they did you wrong by not adding in car X or track Z , than just don't buy it. The (online) community will definitely not miss you. Same goes for Sony/PD.

I still don't get how people really want it all.

Race Modifications, you can turn those standard cars into premium race cars. Don't know about the cockpit though, maybe those will have cockpits similar to the blacked out ones in GT PSP?

The only car that I wished for was a Renault Laguna Coupe GT and there isn't one ... Infact not even a 'normal' Laguna. :nervous:
 
I think they must be holding a few bits back. I still think that the new physics will more than make up for the lack of modern cars.

PD is a japanese company, so they are biased towards there countrys automakers. But why the 🤬 will they add 40 of the same skylines, seriously PD needs to overhaul how they choose their cars.
