Im not trolling im serious, im the no1 cruiser/modder in the forza 3 community, i wanted to implement my skills in gt5 aswell, organize cruises, photoshoots etc, but since there are no intressting streetcars as premium, or very moddable cars, i cant, and thats bugg me really.

why they did not include Seattle????

It is the same list over and over, how many models are in that list before 2005?

It unbeliveable that Veyron is standar.

Don`t get my wrong, I am more than pleased with thess huge lists, but we new some fresh air on the car list.
 
It may not look like it... but I'm happy! I'm finally getting GT5 and it looks great.

But we all had so high expectations, and the silence around it only feeds the imagination... So we kinda feel some things have been "left out" when they actually are not "missing".

I really wish for DLC... cars and tracks. Can't wait another 6 years to drive some of the best machines ever made that didn't make it in, in GT6.

I'm not trying to prove anything, I was just commenting that the features you described do not apply in all situations and that some folk maybe disappointed in the gap between the expectation they may have had for those features and what has been delivered.
 
Bit of perspective from everyone is needed I think. It's not the end of the world if a certain track/car is not there but likewise it's not unusual for someone to be disappointed if what they hoped is not included. Me I'm slightly disappointed in the car and track list. Particularly that there are not more real world tracks. I love motorsport and racing games and get a real kick out of racing the same tracks that I see whilst watching motorsport the two compliment each other. I have some idea of what a certain driver is faced with from playing a track in game and watching motorsport normally allows me to pick up tips to use in game. Fantasy tracks just don't do it in the same way for me.

However, I'm not so short sighted to see that GT5 is going to be an epic experience and is going to keep me busy for a long time. Hopefully DLC will mean even more enjoyment going forward but even if it doesn't appear I'm still going to be happy.
 
Concerning the tuned 370Z being in and not the "regular" one, it's simply listed under a different name:

I knew that ages ago and I feared Kaz's love for classic turtle cars rather that fast cars. He will probably set the nexy gt academy on Samba bus around Eiger. Also, apart form cars choice, which lacks a lot of great cars, I don't like the fact that they announced weather variations and all we get is weather selection only on selected tracks. No real time variations. That sucks for me.

People should look at what we are getting. No other (race) game goes this deep. I don't see ANY reason to complain. Ok , so Spa isn't in. Fine , no Spa. I would like to see it , but I'm not going to complain about it instantly.
This is just unbelievable. Some people are never satisfied. We finally got the release date , and still people are complaining. If you think they did you wrong by not adding in car X or track Z , than just don't buy it. The (online) community will definitely not miss you. Same goes for Sony/PD.

I still don't get how people really want it all.

Agreed. The sad thing is that I am sure they didn't reveal everything and people are complaining about what they don't know 100%. I am sure there is lots we haven't seen. Options, cars and tracks. Wait til the 24th, play for a few weeks to get to the unlockables and then comeback and post. 5 times out of 10, something that was wanted might be in the game. So hats off to you PD/Sony for giving us what you have and for whats to been seen. Goes to show you can't satisfy everyone. Gt1-GT4 were great games. I am sure this one will raise the bar again for all racing games. Now that the announcement is out, I will hold on NFS til next year when the price drops, sorry EA but your on the back burner. Ahh yeah, GT baby!!!

Whuuut not even the Golf 6 is in WTH?
 
Oh for the love of God I wish folks would stop crying about premium/standard models. A lot of the cars we saw in game footage people swore were premium actually turned out to be standard so obviously its not as bad as you guys thought. All cars have the same graphical polish.

That's funny. The English Car List that I am looking at says that the Ferrari F40 '92 is Premium. Are they changing things (looked at 20 mins ago) or is there another F40 that everyone is talking about?

I have had that page open for a good 45 minutes, it said F40 '94 Standard, I just refreshed it and it had changed to F40 '92 Premium. It must have been a mistake and they changed it. Here's hoping they have also made a mistake with the DC2 Integra being standard too!

Nice fail.
At least I have a couple of Fiat 500's, a hippie bus, and a few WW2 jeeps(one of which isn't even the iconic Willy's Jeep).
I sincerly hope PD get their DLS hats on because theres some serious omissions from the list.
It might be a 'real driving simulator' but if I wanted to drive slowly I'd drive my own car:guilty:

EDIT: How does anyone pic a Samba Bus over an FXX.
