you find that strange, what is the difference between al those S2000's and Skyline's and Evo's. Almost nothing PD could have easely made them al premium.

That shows that the standard models havn't been pollised up at all. Because if its to much work to change the Spec V to M badge on a skyline than to port a GT4 model.

yea i thought the same thing about all the others too, but used the golf as an example.

What the frack have they been doing for 6 years? Plotting to slash a bunch of key tracks.

This must be the alternate GT world. Someone call Fringe Division!

Oh no! Gran Turismo doesn't have my favorite car. Let me just CRY about it.

HURP DERP It's not really Gran Turismo 5. It's 4.
HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Everyone needs to stop complaining.

Seriously.

Agreed,

And i am sure GT5 will follow all other games released in the last year... in that there will be numerous DLC packs... which will certainly include more track and more cars.

BRING ON THE 24th!

I will have to further the sentiments of those brave few who say that the car and track list are a bit of disappointment. I feel like PD probably realized halfway through making GTHD and GT5P that at the rate they were going they would never be able to make enough cars and tracks and then add new features. Online was new to them and bet it took a large portion of their resources. As did damage. All these things time and effort away from the car list. To me the track list is the most disappointing. 180-ish premium cars is ok and the standards seem to be passable. But not including tracks like Infineon, Spa, etc sucks. To me the lack of tracks is still what kills for FM3 for me today. No matter how many new cars they add I just end up on the same 5 or so tracks. All this being said, just like 99% of the members on this site, I will buy GT5 on Nov 24th.

I have concluded that your a Forza guy and they paid you to come in to cause drama. Out of all the post I have seen in this thread, you are the most negative towards GT5. If your so down on this game, why are you here. It sounds like your not going to buy the game so why demoralize everyone else. If you are a Forza fan you won't be for long. I bet you will at least play this game. But if you do, play it on a buddy's PS3 in which he has passed 80% of the game, then give your thoughts.

Come on man you are from Texas, you know which streetcars im talking about, dont fail your country.

lol i saw a track editor in an old game called Lotus turbo challenge 3, for the amiga, (and genesis i believe0

that had an editor that worked pretty much the same as this one.

it was a ****** way of creating bland tracks then, i dont think it will be any different now.

I mean look at modnation, there are a FEW good tracks made with that editor, the rest is characterless spam.

and that is with one of the best editors out there.

i wish they hadnt bothered with this editor and got the game out however long it took to do it, earlier.

i dont dislike the look of this game, i just feel its not worth 6 years development time.

Yes, I'm sure the track editor will be the same as one on a system that had 256kb of ram, over 25 years ago. :dunce: :banghead:

Track list is a bit underwhelming, but at least the game is finally coming out. For those severely disappointed, take a deep breath and remember: DLC will undoubtedly be released.

Agreed,

And i am sure GT5 will follow all other games released in the last year... in that there will be numerous DLC packs... which will certainly include more track and more cars.

BRING ON THE 24th!

Indeed. Gran Turismo 5 is going to be AMAZING!
Cannot wait!

207. P/S Toyota SUPRA 2.5GT Twin Turbo R ‘90

Thats the problem, those two cars doesnt deserve the premium list.

They'd better be patches and not paid DLC, because the game as it is now, is clearly incomplete for me.

Prius doesn't but that MkIII Supra deserves to be there, since it isn't glorified by Fast and Furious crowd.

Waaaaaaah, too many cars from GT4!

Waaaaaaah, not enough tracks from GT4!

Am i the only person who is happy with the tracks and cars? lol

i'm surprised the corolla levin AE-86? isnt premium though, it is both japanese and culty.

im just dissapointed with the development time.

Good, i hope we all will boycot gt5 so we can show PD and Sony they cant **** with us.

lol what? Typical fanboy trying to create disappointment in a major GT fansite.

Boycott for what? mods really need to take action against you.

But honestly this isn't the game that was expected. And sure it isn't the game we have been hinted through the years we would get.
This is the problem - expectation. While everyone wants to see as many new cars and as many new tracks and new features as possible, the fact is that GT5 was never going to live up to the loftiest of expectations, and I fear that some people have been expecting far too much and were never likely to be completely satisfied with GT5.

About my comment before regarding GT5 not being GT4 2010 edition, I stand by that - GT5 is a different game on a different console, and I also fear that some people believe that GT5 should simply be GT4, but in HD and with bells and whistles... it ain't. While GT5 is clearly descended from GT4, it is still a different game in many ways. I reckon that GT5 will be a huge game, but just like any other gaming series, it was never going to be definitive, and we may well have to wait on the next iteration for some things.

Kaz said he wants to leave some suprises for us, now i'm happy with the track and car list, especially as some of the errors have been righted, but i'd love it if there are still half a dozen or so tracks hidden away, maybe unlocked towards the latter part of career mode, and maybe 20+ premiums to be won. I also wonder how soon any DLC might show up, and how will it be incorporated? Maybe a 2 or 3 track pack with several vehicles with its own selection of events? Anyway, we got a date finally so alls good, though i wish i never watched the leaked footage now 8(

Yes, so verry real that you going to drive your tuned 700 hp supra in stock rims, even though majority of those tuned streetcars has visual upgrades aswell.

that right there is what I'm talking about, I'm not asking for bodykits on all cars, but I mean if you're going to offer a simple visual upgrade like rims for 200+ premium cars, it just makes the others look... well kinda funny. this 93 miata can't have its wheels upgraded, but this 89 premium model miata sure can! :D

that makes no sense. I really really hope for some form of DLC for "standard rim package" hell I'll even pay for it, I'd pay 15 more dollars just to get upgradable rims for the standards.
