Look guys the USA 23rd post was obviously wrong. Someone probably just made the usual assumption that USA would get it on TUE, but with that page being deleted I think it's obvious that they were wrong.

You're still getting it on the 24th, same as you were earlier today. No big drama
 
Although I can't wait to play this game I am a bit worried as others are. Having owed all the GT's including TT, so far the bar keeps rising. I can care less about the number of cars. I usually have 15 or so that I like to use. 1000+ is more than enough. I love the tracks. Compare GT2:https://www.gtplanet.net/guides/index.php/Gran_Turismo_2_:_Track_List to GT4:https://www.gtplanet.net/guides/index.php/Gran_Turismo_4_:_Track_List to now GT5: https://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-5-official-track-list/. I like more tracks vs. Cars. Like I said before, hopefully they are holding back revealing more tracks and cars. I hate to say it but if the track selection isn't that of past GTs, I may not return for GT6. PD/Sony DLC can save you with GT5, you all need to jump on it. There were suppose to be 20 locations worth of tracks. Not 20 tracks.

Oh, and can't wait for GT5 (best to mention something GT related).

No they'll save me with the already amount of content there is, and the physics.

Now that I think about it the only car I really wish was on that list is the Chrysler ME 412. I love that thing! One of my favorite cars ever.
 
Congratulations to everyone that managed to ignore all the spam clean-up from last night and the posted warnings about continued spamming and have earned infractions today. :rolleyes:
For those of you that would also like an infraction please continue discussing page numbers or post count and it will be arranged. :sly:
Otherwise it's strongly suggested to avoid this sort of useless discussion and continue with discussing GT5 News as the thread title suggests. 👍
 
10 tracks less than GT4 and a ******** of the same cars, this is lame, they delayed the game a milion times, and then give us a game thats probably less exciting than GT4.

there none of the cars and tracks i hoped for in the game, some of the best GT4 tracks have been taken out,

Citta di Aria
Costa di Amalfi
Seattle Circuit
New York
Tahiti

I atleast expected to see more tracks, and hoped to see different cars.
All skylines are in the game, except my favourite (the R34 Z-Tune), practically every honda, nissan and toyota ever made is in the game, and other brands miss their most iconic and most amazing models.

If the game was released a year ago, ok fine, i could live with it, i'd hope for a richly filled GT6, normally a new game is an improvement over the old one, but this is just a stripped down version of GT4 with a few new tracks and HD graphics.

"GT4 prologue 2 HD"

I'm not sure if i'm going to buy it, this wasn't worth the wait and its really depressing. :/

I agree with most of what you are saying. The tracks are my priority, I am consoled by the fact we can create new ones. As far as the cars, I am hoping for DLC because PD's choices are quite puzzling. Finally, we will have to wait and see what the game is like to judge it. From what we know however, there seems to be little innovation in the series vs. what others have created.
 
No wonder the car list is so large; half of the list contains S2000s, Skylines and Miatas :rolleyes:

I do appreciate Kaz' work, but the amount of versions he had of a car in GT4 was already overkill. I would rather he would've trashed half the amount of Skyline R34s and put the '98 GT-One back in the game. I've missed that car ever since GT2...

I'll have to wait and see the number of LMP cars for myself when the game comes out, but it looks like the largest amount of cars are just a~z spec versions of one model.
