Only one thing saddens me in all of this really, and that is what my beloved GTP community has devolved into since the delay. :(

Personally i´m not the slightest dissapointed...and i´m 110% sure there will be some nice surpises in there too, Kaz/PD loves to leave some surprises in there that you´ll have to find out in due time.

Looking forward to racing, doing track days and so on with those here that will be enjoying GT just as much as me.

Also, in now looking at GT5s car list, I must say I think Forza has them there. Way more variety in Forza. Pretty much everything under the sun is covered in that game while GT5 is extremely Japanese biased with 40 Miatas, 60 Skylines, etc.

Just played FM3, such an great car list... And the monthly DLC´s are great, even thogh expensive...

Kaz said already that there will be no DLC...

The question is, this game costed 50 Million Bucks, but what? Nearly 90% of the game is GT 1-4 and Prologue...

Nah I hope the dissapointment will gone after playing a bit...

By letting people know about them in continents where they weren't sold. I know one thing, PD is responsible for me importing a R33 GTS-T.:sly:
 
I'm still curious about one thing in GT5.

Well im staying off the forums for a while until all of this has calmed down. Fed up of people complaining. Thought we could actually talk about GT5 and not just only focus on the bad points and constantly saying how Forza has this and Forza has that.

Hope that at least some people will enjoy GT5 as i will, bye bye :)

Maybe COD is responsible for gun crime just like the papers/politicians say.

I don't know where you live but here in Holland you can't testdrive just any car you want!

And how would you think a 300bhp RWD turbo I6 drive's? I mean you ain't gonna be disappointed.

And its not like i played GT3 one day and bought a R33 the next day. GT got me interested in JDM cars and years later i got one.

Hard to say.
I think you should order it from a UK shop. Euro releases are mostly multilanguage.
 
Gran Turismo 5 is a very ambitious game, but they seem to have forgotten to do the simple and essential things correct. I will hold my full judgment when i get the game, so far im disappointed but i still think it will be great.

Why you don't order it in a Portuguese store like fnac? Be aware of the Customs can take your order and you have to pay some taxes!

You ordered GT5 from the US? Not sure it'll be in Portuguese, but I could be wrong.

I'm sorry man i don't remember the time or place,my memory is not that good.I do remember something(interview maybe?) a little after the November 2nd delay and him saying not to worry as we will be surprised with some feature Polyphony has yet to talk about.

50 million bucks. thats coz of the time they spent making it.

theres lots of things that could take months to make like measuring the tracks ect.

"Usually" UK releases have all the European languages on the disc. Sometimes the Uk version only has English on it.

In this case however (where we are getting a simultaneous EU + UK release) both the Eu version (the version you'd buy in Portugal) and the UK version "should" be the same.

Edit: I can see this solved nothing. however, the US, and Eu versions should be identical given the universal release date.

Get out of here, did he really say that? That must mean he's holding everything back for GT6, which is pretty disappointing since that would likely be 2 years away.

It's kind of nice to buy a game, then get some new content a few months later, then more after that.

...It will be hard to feel the difference between all the Skylines and NSXs. More than 5 is overkill! And that time could have been used sourcing and recreating new cars that only the lucky and rich can drive.

The Skylines have always been heavily represented in GT games - they are also semi-classics (as in, some are.) Supercars are simple things that are here one day and superceded the week after...

I don't see how anyone can be disappointed at all, considering you haven't even played the game yet. Don't judge it until you play it.
