Can someone please download the GT Academy 2010 videos on www.keepvid.com and put them on a file hosting site somewhere - http://www.youtube.com/show/gtacademy

Youtube keeps saying that the video is private :rolleyes:.

Other than the damage, dust and other things, I also remember reading about ruts in the snow which will affect handling, and I would expect the same from mud and gravel/grass(in lesser amount), all of which we haven't seen from all these "finished game" videos. It just doesn't add up. -.-

I just got my receipt out of my wallet, JB HIFI in Australia receipt and it' almost completely black (Heat printed?). Hopefully they still accept it :scared:
 
So the 2 days delay is real or not?

On the fr/de/it playstation site it says 26/11/2010.... and on the spanish one even says "Pendiente de confirmación"....LOL

Don´t look at here...they are very bad updating sites and everything...only one store have the real deal and it says November 24.
I hate living here...a lot of retards (i´m not spanish...):dopey:

Those rally videos are NOT from the final version

the dirt sticks to the car in the final version, as seen in the gamestop turismo tuesday

same with snow, im sure............ so the videos weve seen are not final, no sparks, not close the the amount of damage in the best buy demo and so on...

cant wait to get my hands on the final build tho!

EDIT: also, no further delays, I work at a video game store and the 24th is the final date weve got...we just arent sure of how many Collector's Editions are coming in...but that is the date

You wont in the US, it's only EU and maybe Canada that are at risk by the looks of it. This happened with the last release date to.

At first we thought the delay was only for Russia when it was delayed last time. Then we found out the next day it was for all territories. So I would not be so quick to rule out its delay for all territories. I mean...this is GT5 after all.

Thats good news, im glad we can all enjoy that on our tv's for the first time!

also, as for major releases, I work in a video game store and we usually NEVER get a major game 3 weeks in advance (based on how long weve seen videos coming in) so ive been suspicious from the start, glad that those "you cannot do this or that in this version of the game" messages showed us that the discks arent the final retail versions

Theres no delay anywhere, people are just quoting websites with dates that has been like that close to forever.

Yeah, as I read it I realized it was like "Yeah, stew, who really needs stew? If you want carrots you can have a salad. Potatoes, french fries. Mushooms, an omelette. Beef, a hamburger."

GT 5 has elements from other games, but they wrap up into a pretty package.

Incase nobody noticed I was 100% on about my prediction of release date and marketing strategy for Sony. Thank you very much. With that aside I'm sick of alot of the bitching going on in these threads. This is the bottom line:
GT5 is a DRIVING SIMULATOR

This is a game where the act of driving can be experienced to the fullest. That is why we have all these modes, and they're structured the way they are. The way you should look at it is like a good Flight Simulator. You can fly many different planes yet the experiences aren't as in depth as they are in "boutique-genre" games. For example - People usually don't bitch when you can't have full war-time dogfights in Flight Simulators, just like folks who play Ace Combat don't bitch that they can't fly a 747.

We can drive exotics, normals, nascar, f-1 cars, rally cars, Go-Karts, etc. All of these modes will offer as close to the real-life the experience of DRIVING that type of car. Enjoy it for what it is, experiencing DRIVING!!

If you want a full Nascar experience, go buy a Nascar Game.
If you want a full F-1 game, go buy F-1.
If you want an arcade racer, go buy Need 4 Speed
If you want more Go-Karts, go buy Mario Kart.

If you want to DRIVE and experience the act of driving in all it's forms, and become the best video DRIVER you can be, then buy GT5 and be Extra Happy. I know I will.

I tried to explain GTP to a co-worker today, referencing the fact that some here were making statements like "You can't change rims on Standards?!? That's it, the game is RUINED!!!"

The bewildered look on his face was amusing.

Gamestop canada updated its release date from dec 7 to "unavailable", and gamestop US still says nov 24.
