Ok this might have been covered already but how the ef do I add cars to my online tab. I'll likley figure this out before somone replies but just in case im posting this.
 
I had to re-do my installation as it kept breaking out during GT life.

At one stage yesterday I was well a little upset with what was going on with the game.

But today after the re-installation I have one word for this game and that is.......

Things i dont like :

1 : Why cant i drive any car i like in arcade mode? , i mean so many cars that i have to buy first before i can use them in Arcade? i mean c'mon i want to testdrive the cars first before i buy one

2 : Why cant i free roam around in the car when im on a track , same thing here every race/car game has that feature , but GT5? no

3 : Engine sound should be way louder in tunnels , i dont even hear a difference when i blast into a tunnel. Ever heared a Ferrari in a tunnel? , it's almost twice as load. And again c'mon even in Need For Speed : Hot Pursuit the engine sound changes alot in tunnels.

4 : Lack of premium cars ofcourse , only 200 with like 50 from GT5 Proloque , Forza 3 400 'Premium cars' , GT5 200 'Premium cars' isent that moving backwards on your rival?

5 : In cars why can i only look up and down and why cant i free roam inside the car , whats the point of making the interior look stunning when i cant see 50% of it(dont come with playstation eye , it should be possible with controler) And the same thing even Need For Speed : Shift can do that , and like every other car game i have played

6 : Shifting gears in a manual cars goes too fast , somethings it looks like my Nissan Sivlia Aero has got a flappy paddle gearbox, and why is a gearchange from like 1st to 2e gear slower then 3rd to 4th. Shifting gears in manual cars should be a bit slower , because i feel it's way too fast and it sounds like a flappy paddle gearbox.

Good game , but way too many features missing that should be standard in a car game , and which is in most car games.

1. It kind of takes away the special-ness of saving up and buying the car you want if you can just drive whenever in arcade mode

3. O...kay. Not a big deal. But it'd be nice.

4. Except 200 cars is still more than any racing game other than Forza. And we're completely ignoring the other 800 perfectly fine standard cars that are just as fun to drive.

5. You can see the dash, the left and right doors and out the rear window from the cockpit. Anything else and you'd be taking your eyes off the road :dopey:

6. Never heard anything like this before.

Seriously don't understand how people linger on such miniscule issues when my mind is always on "OMG, I wanna do this and this and this..." :lol:
 
How do you perform race modification to get the trophy, everytime i try to enter the race mod in GT Auto it says its not available, no matter what car I try with

Golf R32 has one. Buy that :)
 
Please tell me the endurance events are "hidden" and unlock sometime later...I can't find them anywhere :(

I still have a smile on my face from last night... the driving in this is just so good, I couldn't care less about the rest. I could (and did) drive for hours in there...

I'm up to the Expert events and I still can't see them. I have a feeling Extreme will have them all

I did 5 lap race at HSR weather last night in Arcade mode. first couple of laps it was raining, then it stopped and gradually started to brighten up. I couldn't stop grinning when I saw it. Try it out if you haven't already. 👍

(I mean you can only look left and right but not up and down)

Just so many things that you see in other race games , and why arent they in GT5?
 
i have some news...yeah just starting with the game i was testing in the track maker the SLS AMG and crash into a wall and i got damage ...and i have no licence test yet and i´m in level 0...the damage it does not depends on the level...not for me....the game don´t crash and is really fast when is loading everything...i´m lucky...or...the game is awesome.
 
You all probably know that already but:

online-> race results -> save replay :)
 
What's the point in saving the replay when you can't upload it to YouTube coz it goes in Ps3 Saved Data on the xmb

Thanks mate, I will! I'm adding that to my goals for tonight: Weather, Arcade, Licenses and Online.

Haven't been able to try everything yet (thank God!).

Can anyone translate? I've used online translators but most of the message is just a mess like you always get with them. It seems to say that damage will be added to arcade mode, but there's more info listed that I can't make out with an online translator.

They sort of confirm the damage after level 20 and there being more updates by Christmas.
 
Something to fix the graphics issues would be good.

If it weren't for the menus, I'd rather play this game on a standard def TV -- kind of annoying since I used GT5 as an excuse to come out of the stone age and et a HD TV. At least in standard def the jaggies arn't so jaggie, and there isn't white lines where most of the anti-aliasing should probably be!
 
I like how we've got the game now but we're still playing the waiting game. PD is very thoughtful, they didn't want us to go into waiting withdrawal after all these years.
 
Where are the car make events within a selection of the manufacters? GTP had it, and I am sure GT4 had it?
 
Just crashed my PS3,
Had 3 wonderful hours playing GT5,
Went out for a meal, re started,
got GranTurismo5 start page,
some sort of online content notification under that,
Then:
Registration of Trophy Information Could not be completed
[8002291A]
The game will quit. OK?
Then on a restart
Error on Start up [80010514]
And 2 tips for problem solving,
Clean the disc and restart or
Contact technical support.
Cleaned disc – no difference.
Did do a double beep reboot and restore the file system but made no difference.
Restart – same, no difference
Looks like I’ll be dialling 1300 365 911
…But that will have to wait till morning, too crabby now!
It’s 12:24 after midnight here now.
 
all Ive played so far is 2player split screen. Anyone else find it not very good that when you pic your car its all very linear and small compared to the country of origin layout in gt4?

Also, when I pic the nurburgring track (next to fuji speedway) on 2player, it goes to the Fuji speedway in the race. Can anyone else confirm this on 2 player?
 
Does the scale size ratio of track width/size to car size seem different to anyone? Prologue just seems more realistic to me I don't know why :confused:
 
If anyone have a spare code of the stealth cars or whatever cars designed by PD , I would really love to have one, since here at Brazil we dont get **** by pre ordering in any store =(, its just sad.

I preordered when there was no ad for it...
I preordered the collectors edition...
My order didn't go through because my card got declined, it still hasnt shipped....
I actually emailed them and they said I wasn't going to get it.....


and I STILL after all that received my email with the code to get the stealth model AMG. That made my day.

I think I just dipped the throttle on turning into the first corner then full throttle through the rest.

Nope Extreme just has more cups ... must be somewhere else, e.g. high lvl.
 
Can I buy a Peugeot 207 a my first car ?

I don't think it require a high Lv...

One thing I dislike about the game is how long it takes to build up your credits/money.
Back on GTPSP, racing a Buggatti Veyron on the driving park(13 miles oval track) would earn you over $110K every two laps, a really fast way to build up your credits to buy all the cars you ever wanted or needed. But here in GT5 it takes forever. Not even the licences earn you credit after obtaining them, or racing online(by far my favorite mode). And leveling up is no easy thing either, takes for ever.. I guess I'll have to wait till my level is up to 11 or so so I can race in Daytona and make a lousy $17k every 3 laps :(

IMO I wished it was hard to level up and I like what I hear. patience man, you will become a better driver if physics model is as good as everyone tells... :sly:
