The 111R on top gear test track is typical polyphony (realistic driving simulator ) I turned on asm or whatever they changed the name to now doing this makes the test miles easyer, also do the test a couple of times to find the shortcuts :sly:.

Is Metacritic hacked?

Or am I doing something wrong...I wanted to put up a GT5 review and a score of 10, but when I wanted to submit I could only give the game a 0.0. Then as a test I tried to review Forza 3 and I could only give a perfect 10 there.......?

I was driving my imported Veyron around one Cape tracks and noticed that it can have its front end warp.

Little tidbit for you guys. If anyones got a Stealth car, fit Sports Hard onto it and you can drive in the European Hot Hatch Championship 💡

I had my Audi R10 Stealth from HMV and used it in some of the beginner races. Very fun :).

Also I looked in the Sun's car bit today and it mentions that Mclaren have/are building a state of the art factory where the MP4-12Cs will be built and also where the Mclaren F1 HQ will be. And its just up the road from me at Horsham which is about 10-20 miles from where I live.

They also had a GT5 review and gave it 4/5.

I will do this when i get home in the morning. Whats weird is it didn't take long for him to find the code, which made me think that it might be used unlimited. I don't know just me thinking. :)

Thanks a bunch.

I get error 80010514 everytime I try and launch the game. It's been working perfectly for the last few days and it decides to stop working now. All my other games work fine.

I just had the most fustrating, but ultimately rewarding 3 hours of gran turismo ever.

I'm a new wheel user, and coped well, on my civic, golf, and the early races, licenses etc. Then i brought myself the V6 clio. You may scoff at this, but the added power, really brought forward a new challenge.

I really had to learn how the car behaves. Time is different inside a car than outside, if that makes sense. I had to wait to get on the throttle alot more than before, and really had to modulate the brake pedals, otherwise i was in the barrier, or facing the wrong way. Learning how to properly throw the weight of the car around, was really challenging, and took me a while to get to grips with how it all works. just simple things like making sure the wheels were straight, coming out of a corner etc, took a real hold. completing the french cup, getting golds on both felt great.

And by then the behaviour patterns of the car, or added power were starting to become second nature, or though if i lost concentration, i normally end up facing the wrong way. You really got to hand it to racing drivers- the thought of racing , or driving ferraris, and zondas is actually quite terrifying. And the best bit? GT doesn't rely on visual representation (ala shift) to supply this, just pure beautiful physics.

man i love this game.

It is just that demanding and rewarding. I wouldn't even "dare" use a controller with GT5 :D

I feel sorry for those that can't buy, or don't have the space to properly setup a decent wheel, since that turns "simple" gaming to the top of "real driving simulation".

Should I be insulted that I don't have a wheel and I just use the controller?

In no way my friend! No mocking, I really wish you did/had space/could afford, etc.

It becomes "real"like that.

Ah, ok. Understandable. Things are just hard at the moment. Can't buy what you want when you plan on going back to school.

I been thinking, since I don't have a wheel, I want to see how close in times I can get to people who have the wheel. Call it an extra challenge if you will. I like being the underdog sometimes.:dopey:

In Prologue, I could drive consistently say 1.20.000 with a pad. Some 5 laps in a row. With a wheel, I was able to do 1.19, but would probably spin or loose a hand full of seconds on the second lap, so I usually drove @ 90% with the wheel.

On GT5 I haven't (nor want to) use the pad, so... can't compare. And I don't even know how fast I can go yet with one car, in one track, it's too much stuff, and physics are very, very different. Still pushing the envelope :dopey:

and here is an intresting quote:

"The network was in a critical state because so many people had tried to log in," says Yamauchi when we speak again the following day. "We had geared up for 500,000 online users, but the demand was greater so we've now doubled the number of connections that can be handled."

This ongoing maintenance, you sense, will dominate Yamauchi's life just as building the game in the first place did. Already a further patch is scheduled to be available on December 1, allowing more extensive damage to occur to the cars, with other to follow that will upgrade "standard" cars to "premium" spec, with more detail and cockpit views.

I'm in the same boat as you dude, except that it's not for the same reason... I'd love to have a wheel, but money's real tight at the moment... Controller will have to do for now :)

Only in my wildest dreams I hosted that idea...! Only to wake up and think: Nah...

We need to be very sure the translation is correct. Because that is one of the best possible ways to go withGT5.

Nice find!

That's awesome! I wonder how many standard we're talking about here...

..... yeah when pigs fly :D

I mean I'd love too but let's be realistic.... oh and BTW I also want a patch that upgrades some tracks that looks terribly last-gen..... :yuck:

I grew up in Horsham and I haven't seen anything about McLaren building a factory there. Their factory is in Woking in an amazing building and I thought they were building the new factory next door!

+1 lol!

I'd like a patch that adds in the mi??ing tracks.

Didn't it take something like 6 months to model a premium car or something? Sounds a bit much but if there patching standard cars its going to cost us on GT6.

They need to either DLC the heck out of GT5 for a year or just sort out GT6.

where can we see others track that have been made by course maker??

I made one call "Eifel PS_Johan" and I upload it

I woulden't expect any standead to premeum conversions anytime soon, but the bit before (that i didn't highlight) about the damage is good to see. I imagin that that it will just make the damage more server with less impact.

Unlocked Nurburgring 24 hour track :D

I really wish we had that YouTube function. My stock ZR1 hit 232 on SSR7  I got spun out on the last stretch and ended up 11th. :grumpy:

Load times just went to hell again :nervous: took forever to get back to home page.
