Okey, so it took you "Kolme" days to finish GT5? It could only happen to a Finn:)

Yep. :D

I also got a Ticket 1000. It gave me a BMW 330. I'm a bit dissapointed... I guess it could have been anything.

There is no quick tune, another thing they removed from Prologue. Actually the prologue seems like a more complete game, it didn`t try to be anything more than it was, but GT5 tries really hard to be everything, and fails, big time. GT5 should have been the Prologue, and the Prologue should have been GT5

Then how are you supposed to tune the ride height?, suspension stiffness?, etc...

Yeah, you should have been given the Ferrari F2007, the Kimi-champion-car:)

You do all that when you're in the garage and the practice mode inside of A-Spec.

The suspension tuning menu is VERY disappointing compared to GT4

Quick question. Has anyone here tried both the DFGT and the G27? If, is it worth upgrading and does the G27 feel smoother and is it less noisy?

Damm this Game

I've now Bought 2 Copies of the Game one on Launch Night then a 320GB/CE Bundle and Today I bought a DFGT Wheel

Thats not the Reason I say "Damm Though"

Its because after 2 hours of trying to get the Goddam Wheel to Work I figured I better Plug the Foot Pedals in , this is after Ringing Logitech Support :dunce:

But wait theres Worse to Come , Guess what Idiot took the Packing Box Apart looked in Every Nook an Cranny inside every page an Peice of Paper .

Me and What for you Ask , Well I was Trying to Find the GT Logo Sticker for the Wheel :dunce::dunce::dunce:

Jeezus just aswell I didn't ask Logitec for my Sticker :lol::lol:

That's funny.. Kind of happened to me. When I set it up I was like, where's the GT logo due to the fact I also bought it used.

I have a G27, never had a DFGT, I will say that it is very quiet, can't compare it to the DFGT but the noise is a non factor. I ask myself would I like to drive with a clutch pedal? The answer for me was yes, so I went with the G27. You don't have to use the clutch pedal by the way.

Allright, thanks.

I didn't notice any slow downs today, the game ran pretty smooth all the time. :)

I played 5 hrs. today and my ps3 was connected to the internet, had no loading problems today...

well people in 6 hours i´m going to travel for 3 weeks...yeah it socks! cause i have the Signature Edition and i play only one day (yesterday and one hour today)...well level 15 at least.
I want to say good bye for all and have good races!!! when i come back be prepare...

anyone now how to adjust the gear ratios of each individual gear? I bought the fully customizable gearbox, but it doesnt allow me to change the ratios, I can only adjust the top speed.

I'm rather disappointed with the AI for some particular races. The Monza Ferrari challenge has the same poor AI controlling the Ferrari Enzo that does that swerve right before the first chicane every single race without fail. So far the tuning aspect is a far cry from Forza 3. Now that was tuning done down to a science. Otherwise GT5 is still pretty decent game.

i'm still trying to figure out what was going to kaz mind ?
He might need someone to challenge his ideas,... When you so popular the people around you tend to turn to "yes mens":grumpy:

Is there a way to stop these guys from starting the race that i host? cause if i'm hosting a race why can't i be the one to start it it bothers me sooooo much

If you put a carat on a stick in front of you ..you'll never get to eat it either !!! :scared:

I believe when it happens .. thanks for the read.

I acutally think that we're going to see quite a bit of car DLC in the future. The fact that Kaz said that he doesn't know if GT6 will be a PS3 game gives me the impression that it's very possible that it's going to be a PS4 title (maybe a launch title?). So they'll have plenty of time to release cars as DLC, and possibly a track or two.

I think there was a Lambo that we saw in a demo but wasn't in the final game. That points to a car pack DLC.

There was talks of a PC release at some point for the chinese market. That would be the way to go. No longer held back by the limitations of consoles.
could have much better graphics and alot larger ai fields with proper AA and vsync. Definately the way to go if they choose to do so.

Regarding DLC, yea track pack would be great. Imagine the Isle of Man TT or the Targa Florio :) WOW!!!! If it took them nearly 6 years to make GT5 though, imagine how long building either of those two behemoths would take :D F1 trackpack would be easier to do and a good choice too.
They should release an SDK for PC and let track builders port rFactor and other tracks to GT.

I'd love to see car DLC (like the new Stratos ) but I think most people here are clamoring for new tracks. GT5 is conducive to either form of DLC, so let's hope KY is listening...

BTW, found a very useful tuning chart. Wish I could claim credit for it. Would post in the tuning section but that pesky 100 post rule...

Just thought I'd share a neat little feature. It was my birthday yesterday and if you log into GT5 through the PSN on your birthday you get a bonus car from your year of birth! I got an 86 Celica.

I apologise if this is mentioned elsewhere, I did a search and could not find.

I was born in 1980...

Hmmm... Goes off to look at car list for possibilities....

;)

Don't know if it has been confirmed or not but do we have tire wear ?

Does the game keep track of what you buy?Like if i by a Used car then go back and try to buy the same car will it give me a warning that i already have that car? That way i can keep from buying the same car over and over.Keeping track of all the Skylines is difficult.

On the subject of DLC, wouldn't it make sense to have Hockenheim released? Because I believe there was a demo of some sort were you could drive on it, but it wasn't included in the full game for some reason.
