This probably has been asked a thousand times already but I just got in from a two weeks of media black-out and haven't heard anything during this time, so here goes: There was a lot of talk about a youtube video upload feature. Is it actually in the game?

1980 rough, for cars at least, nothing American was any good (that i can think of off the top) , late 70s was the last great American wave until the 2000s.

Japan? No Supra, no Rx7 no GTR!

Europe? Closest i can think of is Renault 5 Turbo which is pretty nice MR, lightweight...


Lucky me I'm born in 87, i can have a Yellowbird, a R31 GT-S, Buick GNX, Lotus Esprit Turbo, Motul Civic Race Car and several others(like an M3 E30 had they included it), but any one of those is a fly ride in my book.

You are far better off than I, in regards to choices.

It seems my birthday car will be the '80 Renault 5 Turbo.

That looks to be the only car in the came from my birth...

I'm a huge rally fan, so I'm fine with it. Especially if it doesn't show up in the used car section often. Not much of a "surprise" present, though. :lol:

Birthday is January 7th, so I don't have too long to wait.

Does the game keep track of what you buy?Like if i by a Used car then go back and try to buy the same car will it give me a warning that i already have that car?That way i can keep from buying the same car over and over.Keeping track of all the Skylines is difficult.

Some of us have what we call "Skyline Fetichism".
It's our own garage, we shall be free to buy any many of the same cars as we want... why wouldn't i be able to buy 50 Cappuccinos?? Why wouldn't i be able to buy 15 F1?

I'm not saying make it where you can't buy duplicates,i'm saying for it to say something like you already have purchased this car do you wish to purchase it again.For those of us that don't want to buy the Exact same car by mistake.I'm not talking about different versions of a car but the exact same car.

so where are the b licsence races? i get the licsence then still have to race garbage trucks and go karts?

I just noticed a new update that came up a second ago. it's 1.02 and is 133mb.

Anyone know what this includes ?

I just noticed my game is hanging after a re-boot from hanging. I'll just re start it again.
 
I didint get a patch. I'm getting that the server is being worked on and now nothing works. Just get frozen in a gt emblem loading screen.

Turned it off, someone post when it's safe to log on again
 
You could play offline, that's what I've done. Just log off PSN and play for a while and then log back in when it's back working, or don't, whatever.
 
Okay my GT life loading screen is taking FOREVER. Is the servers having problems syncing again? I was doing A spec mode after getting all gold on the AMG SLS challenge (except for full lap)!

EDIT: As per above, looks like we'll play it like its 1999.

I've started playing since 10 pm last night Nov 25 with about 6 hours sleep and stayed home all Friday with vacation from work.

Right now level 15 with over 1,000,000 credits. Money is easy to come by (only 1 time) via the special challenge. I think they're actually more fun than the A spec - VW bus included lol.

Got another message that popped up: "Server is currently under going maintenance".
 
Anyone know what this patch contains?I can't find anything about it anywhere.

The Grand tour tuscan night race in the lambo is retarded. The graphics and lighting are not good enough in GT to have a night race in the countyside that relies solely on headlights as the lighting effects are not up to the job.
You can't see what the hell is going on.
Night races where there are street lights are fine, but to rely solely on headlights is stupid unless they have lighting effects that cut it.
Unless I'm missing something here and it's just stuck on low beams?
The lights automatically turn on when you drive in this level and I have tried buttons on the wheel and they only turn off lights.

Im level 15 also and have around 700K. Just bought the Dodge Viper race car, and am about to buy the 458 Italia.

This is an awesome game. Loving every second of it

Is there a blue sign showing up next to the rev counter when the lights are on? If there is, it means the high beams are on.

Also, try upping the brightness from the quick settings.

I thought the night effects were good, and not unfair. Although onboard in the rain is, in my experience (even with an HD TV), impossible. It does look sick though!

Was sure that the Lambo didn't have candles :D
The night effects are grand in the city or with street lights.
The headlight effects are not up to the job though. Don't think there is any games which is really, hence why most never do really dark nights.
Hard thing to simulate. The lights are just lighting the road and not the periphery and they don't even light the road far enough.
