whoa i'm on the 24H of Nurburgring on the dream car race and man it's just too awesome, there's a crowd of people and people with their campers and grills, i'm also using Kaz's IS F racing car all black.

Yup. It's like Red Dead Redemption: LOTS of glitches, but since the majority of them don't take away from the actual gameplay, it's still a great game.

Same thing with GT5: There are plenty of glitches, some of which can't be helped because PS3 doesn't have enough graphical memory, but, since there aren't many that really take away from the gameplay, it's still a great game.

Maybe i like the game to much ^^

can someone answer this question when yoe sell a car that you have already won is it possible to win it again, because when you race events twice and you haven't sold the car you don't recieve another.

Not that i know of yet, also a tip whenever you get to these races NEVER let your tire wear bar get too low you'll slide like a block of ice :scared:
 
Today i experienced mechanical damage for the first time after some extensive crash testing with the Ferrari Italia 458 (Level 21). The car drifted to the side when i drove straightforward and there were gear changing problems.

That's strange cause Kaz said he would be implimenting it in a patch so there isn't supposed to be any at present :odd:

It's mostly minor stuff that's not too noticeable. But, the shadows and shadow animations are kinda clunky, but that's apparently because the PS3 has issues handling it with all the other stuff. I've also had the game freeze on me 4 and a half times. There are several other things like head to head collisions suck. I've actually driven through someone. But most of it is minor.

I'm the author of the review and for better or worse feel compelled to reply here. I intentionally abstained from making any references to Forza in the review other than a quick one at the beginning to address the elephant in the room. I own and have played every GT game to death. I also own every Forza game and love the series, but haven't played Forza 3 in many, many months. I'm hardly a fanboy of either.

I do, however, compete regularly in iRacing. If you're as interested in a pure driving simulator as you say you are, I highly encourage you give it a shot. There's even a very cheap 3 month plan for newbies to give it a go. It will give you new perspective on what the term "driving simulator" means. The other sims I mentioned are also very good.

Also, if you still have doubts about my preference for arcade racers vs. real racing, here's some of my other work:

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. There seems to be an air of negativity on most areas of the review, which makes the review appear biased.

Do all the snow rally's in special events they're super easy and try to complete most of the special events cause they throw money and XP at you.

he was probably mistranslated, people have been describing mechanical damage here and there since the games release
 
I can confirm that if you rear end somebody hard enough in a Mazda Furai at night then your headlights don't work anymore. Very annoying.

Well, its got some Gt in it.. and.. well its the new Kevin Butler ad :sly:, showcasing the GT bundle at bestbuy for Xmas 👍

Anyway. you guys are well ahead of me! thats some serious playtime. i get quite tired easily playing it with the wheel. or rather im getting to the stage where if i make a mistake, its costly. I tried the world championship on professional, and done le sarthe fine, N'schieffe was a different story, got wrong halfway fine, then got pitted, into the wall, and last. pushed too hard trying to get back, into the wall, end of race pratically. and then i had a nightmare on madrid. but loving the game thus far . :)
