Does anyone know if PD have fixed the 'drafting ghost exploit'?
What is the exploit exactly? As you know, in GT5P, if a car commits a penalty, as defined by the games penalty system, the car in question turns into a ghost, and is usually penalised for a set period of time.
The only problem with the penalty is, that although the car has been temporarily removed from play, it's slipstream has not, so it is entirely possible to draft the ghost of the car as you could any other car, and use it to gain positions.
It is not so obvious on regular tracks like Suzuka, though it is still in effect, but on tracks like Daytona, it is very obvious, and could be used to gain an unfair advantage.
In my mind, a penalty for one player should not provide a bonus for another. With the inclusion of NASCAR in GT5, it is critical that PD fix this bug, as it provides an unfair advantage, and penalties become punitive. 👍
