I don't think you understand what Premium cars are, and are you saying that all the pics of the cars before the Zonda one are standard? Just because the cars are old does not mean they are standard.

What are you talking about?
First: There are a lot of cars that were in GT4 which are Premium now.
Second: That Zonda is a Zonda R, which was neither in GT4, nor in GTPSP.
Third: If the cars would be Standard ones, you would see a significant difference in the quality.

If a car was in GT4, doesn't make it a standard car. All the cars there are Premium, some even were in GT5p like the EvoIV and RX7 FD.

Ya, all standard cars are from GT PSP and back, but not all GT PSP cars and back are standard.
 
Why is it so hard for people to distinguish a "premium" car and a "standard" car? All those cars in the new pictures are premium. We already saw the standard cars video and the difference between them is obvious. People need to stop being optimistic. Being old, slow or small doesn't mean the car is standard. Premium cars aren't only super cars.

I apologise in advance for my little rant.

I love the visuals of the game it makes you think that you don't need ps4 but stll it still sucks that the cars are still bump cars with no damage effects and it still have that unnatural spring effect when it hits the wall and tire wall( well the tire wall did not even move or scratch). Also the cars are like trains, there is no AI, if you stop your car they will still hit your car and not even brake or evade your car or any cars that stop.

Now if you want you can start attacking me personally also. But I think the concerns are quite valid. If it is the case will GT5 be any lesser for it? Not to me, I will still love it. Though that does not mean we should pretend such concerns are not there.

Nasanu, I have no intention to attack anyone, the whole point of my post was going into direction of Slipstreamz post history in last 60 days.

Also, I clearly say I find it amusing, because there is no one single thing that can be revealed regarding GT5 that he does not find some "constructive criticism".

However, I wouldn't say a thing if he himself hadn't made at least 100 posts in StdVsPrem thread regarding praising "what he will do with Premium cars in photomode", etc. Now, today we finally get latest images of Prems, and now he says "ho needs cars detailed like that". It was hilariuos moment :D

On the other hand, I share your (and his respectfuly) fears regarding DN and Weath transitions on all tracks, but I really have high hopes - and until it is clear we will not have it, I remain positvly confident 👍

To me the only thing that matters is, are the day/night and weather transitions realistic. I could care less if they are only on Le Mans and The Ring. In case you were wondering why weather and night racing would not be on all tracks the answer is really simple. At night and in the rain visibility is reduced as a result the track would need some form illumination. Considering, KY and PD are perfectionists they would need to accurately recreate the lighting for all the real life tracks. That would take a lot of time. So more likely than not they will just do it for tracks like The Ring and Le Sarthe.
 
^^it most likely will seeing as weather on the track plays a huge roll in the show when recording lap times

There's one of a Volvo in Switzerland that looks suspiciously like an advert'... Also, the one of the four cinquecentos is in Piazza del Campo, where the Kart race is held in the demo :odd:

The ones of the Miura are incredible. I hope the Mk I / II Ford GT is premium, considering it won more races than the Mk IV...

Remeber when Kaz said GT5 premium models were too detailed and good enough for the PS4? You think he was joking? ;)

And the counter argument, because everything about the game is perfect? The perfectionist argument is no longer valid when it comes to PD/Kaz in my opinion.
As for not all tracks having weather, your argument about night time is likely not valid since during the day tracks would still have weather and I doubt they'll count "track 1 day time/track 1 night time" as separate tracks. I think that the old tracks from GT4 will most likely not have weather effects just like standard cars are hindered in damage, these tracks will be hindered in the weather department.

And I guess you still don't take into consideration what difficulty may have been used? Oh and lets not the company wide warning that always states "Demo is not representative of finished Product".

But he has also said in the Famitsu magazine that they are still working on it, and couldn't say definitively if it would be on all tracks and races. I also recall reading somewhere today that he said "probably not" but again that isn't a no.

So like Amar said there is still hope for it, they are working on getting in everything but we probably won't know for sure until we get the game.
