But I disagree. Kaz does come across very much as a perfectionist. In the interview with Famine, he seemed nervous, as if he was going to get a grilling from a pro, not just another game writer who's knowledge of cars was that they used gas and drove on tires. When he presented GT PSP at E3 2008, he looked visibly upset, no doubt because he wanted to be unveiling his masterwork, not some portable game.
He said frankly in an interview that he hates the times after a Gran Turismo release, because he wanted more time to make it even better. No doubt he's going to have to have some bottles of antacid handy, the way some of the people here are still complaining in the face of incredible revelations, and some yet to come!
I'm hopeful that the Master understands that some people just won't be easy to please no matter what, and that the rest of us are forever thankful to him and his incredible team for what they struggled for most of five years to give us. I'm one of them, sensei, arigatou!
