I think its just a rumor but, i have to ask.

A friend of mine came to my house and we are talking about a lot of stuff (women, cars, bikes and games), he said me that GT 5 may be delayed again because some legal issues with some city (the city governators doesn't allow GT 5 to recriet the city in the game).

I don't believed it, but just to be sure... is this true ?

It's all on the news blog:
https://www.gtplanet.net/sony-polyphony-digital-face-italian-legal-threats/

It has some legal issues but no delay (yet), they will remove the city/flags

We have 3 settings for damage(or maybe 4, with it off ?).

So damage...what is it on or no? I saw a WRC video a while back with great looking damage characteristics then saw this joke of a damage model: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92mDRnjgwmc&feature=player_embedded#at=140

That's the damage in one of the most anticipated racing games? That's the same level of the damage patch from Sports Car GT YEARS ago. I'm sorry but if that's all we get long live Forza.

So it's all about the damage for you? What about the driving physics, tracks, cars etc.?

We haven't seen the final damage model yet, so why are you already complaining? And I hope you know that the damage in Forza doesn't look much better 👎
Plus it's pretty ignorant to say that Forza is the better game just because the damage in those off-screen videos doesn't look good enough for you.

Long live Forza, huh?

Yes, the Forza damage is rubbish, you just get some loose bumper or they fall off, and scratches on places where it`s not possible to get them.

Damage is a big part, if it's suppose to be a "simulator" then I want to be able to destroy my car if I crash. Not hit a wall at 100+mph and get a strange looking dent.

You're right, that's why I asked. Forza damage looks better then the damage in that NASCAR video.

Yeah because the NASCAR dent damage looks so real. lolol

you can crash and feel good about it

LOL Oh yeah because that's all I want. You and everyone else knows that ads to the sim experience. If I'm not racing in real life and I am at home relaxing, I want to play a sim, in real life when I crash it damages the car, if I am playing a sim it should do the same.

well its not gonna happen so why keep beating the dead horse?

Most of us expect more information about the damage model at TGS, you can start complaining here if it looks like that in the full game, but not NOW.

you know Burnout has even more damage:banghead:

That's the stupidest game. lol

You all need to study more in school, specifically reading comprehension. I don't want damage just to blow stuff up and have action, IT'S PART OF A REAL SIM. No damage = not real.

Are you just here to troll? Reading over this and your post history, you make it seem that way.

Show me one single driving game that replicates how a car would react in all crash situations. Fact is, no sim out there does a great job of it, and all are half-assed to some degree. So I drive along in Forza 3 and smash into a wall head on at 150mph, and all that happens is the entire car body textures swap out to ones that are covered in scratches, then you drive away. Yeah, real realistic...

Instead of hating on GT5 (which hasn't even been released yet), why don't you just stick to playing your beloved Forza 3 if its so good?

Edit: Wow, I just read your post above too. "stupidest"...sounds you like are the one who needs to go to school. So "No damage = not real" eh? The opposite must mean that "Damage = real", so by your own admittance, GT5 must be realistic because it has damage.

Yeah I've been here for almost 10 years to troll.

Forza 3 at least has realistic characteristics when you do hit a wall. rFactor is fairly real when it comes to wrecks as well.

I don't love Forza 3, as I said, the physics suck and GT has always been better.

Your last "edit" makes no sense, kid.

Guys come on, noone wants to read another fight on here... theres been plenty already...

If anyone complains about "not enough damage" can kindly remind themselves that these are Demo builds, in content we havent even seen 25% of the game, so the same could be said for Features.

If you encounter damage enough to say "its not enough" then maybe you need complete destruction so you can learn to keep the rims on the road.

Shows your level of maturity then...

Shows your level of intellect too...

I said it to Simon so I'll say it to you too, theres no need for this infighting..

Well said..

This argument is boring. Back on point...

10GB install, eh? WOW. I should've expected, but somehow I'm a little surprised (don't ask why, because I don't have an answer). I'd better do some PS3 house-cleaning before November. I'm pretty sure I don't have room as it stands now.
