Well the driver is pretty woven in with the cockpit, in replays and other cars. So I guess they really had to leave it in.
*facepalm*

Of course the driver should be visible from outside the car and in replays. That's the case in the games I mentioned.

Do they need to do this by law?
maybe there are selfish....?!

If Sony were against these videos they would have them removed instantly by a simple request to YT.

If they were selfish they wouldnt upload crappy videos every day because thats alot of work.

we German's are usually like this...... :dopey:

LOL, right.

It's better to be negative and find something positive than vice versa.

So aside from the release date:

Is the 10GB install worth it?
A-Spec/B-Spec leveling separate for online or is it one thing?
Just Red Bull and Ferrari have their 2010 F1?

Thankee sai.

Guys, now I think it's a bit too strange that we can have only videos confirming what we already know... If people who have the game could put videos in the web without any restriction of Sony, we would surely have some big news, because it's impossible that they can't find any information about new tracks, cars or something else, even if they're at the beginning of the game... SS7 and Cape Ring are the unique news we got, and this seems to go on with the way of marketing that Sony has been using since some years...

So how does the animation work in replays then, if there's no hands in cockpit view, what would happen when you put them there for a replay? Especially GT5s replay system with multiple views of the driver.

I could believe that Sony are behind this if it was only one person posting leaked videos, but there's two people so far, and they are in contact with people on this forum (play3man and Rash-182) so for that reason i don't think Sony are behind this whole thing.

Thought Jordan or anyone else would have posted this news already...

Sony dismisses latest GT5 release rumours - Computer and Video Games

Tuesday 9-Nov-2010 10:35 PM "We have not made any official announcements," says SCEA rep

SCEA has dismissed the latest in a line of reports that Gran Turismo 5 will be out later this month.

An Italian website reported a November 27 release for the racer in Europe, and November 30 for US. The Nov 27 date also cropped up earlier on an 'IGN UK' Twitter feed that turned out to be fake.

It all sounded like hot air to us, but we spoke to Sony anyway and it seems there's no official grounding to these reports.

An SCEA rep has told CVG: "Unfortunately we can't comment on this as it is a European page and we don't know where this information is coming from. We have not made any official announcements on launch timing yet."

Images of GT5 in the wild surfaced yesterday, along with a Trophy list.

The game's (rather odd) intro video has also made its way onto the internet. Check it out.

I can't post topic yet, and here seems like the right place...
It's simple to be honest - when SONY announce a release date, it will be front page news and all over the internet. All we have at the moment is a mish-mash of guesses fueled by hype and desperation.

As far as i know there is no Red Bull F1 in GT5 at all. Only the Ferrari F1 2007 and F2010.

It works in LFS...

... so I'm sure PD could've figured something out as well.

Good morning everyone. What is the collective consensus on the release date as of this moment?
The consensus is that SONY have not made any official announcement, and are making the usual "we do not comment on rumors" statements. So, 24th it is then ;)

A Wednesday in the US? It would be unusual, then again this whole saga has been unusual :nervous:

Has it occurred to anyone at all, that perhaps there isn't any major news we haven't heard of yet? That this is it!

These forums are filling up with conspiracy theories because we don't get some new insane feature in a video? Maybe we have it all....

Personally, I have been off from here for quite a while, only been looking as a guest, cause this has gotten worse and worse the closer we have come. But seriously, this time... next you hint that PD produced a time machine to kill JFK or something :S

:sly:

SolidSnakeX has, but 10 days until they ship it.

I called them again earlier this morning to have it switched to express shipping (which would make it ship within 5 days) and they told me that it would ship out on the 23rd. So they don't actually have it. Or if they do they aren't allowed to sell it until the 23rd.

November 3 was the previous date for EU and Nov 2 for US right?

So if Nov 24 is EU date then Nov 23 should be US, which falls on a Tuesday.

Well these ppl who have the game, are posting these videos that don't show off anything new, it seems strange that not one has responded to a request and instead continues to post up videos of previously seen material.

Sony is simply using this as a mode of advertising to build up hipe
