The race recap is up for the race on December 21. Full standings are updated. I have also added the race replays as attachments on the recap page. You can unzip the files, place them on a memory stick and play them within GT5.

and o yea battman. is the laguna seca race going to be the last one? Is there still going to be a special event race? like a one make race or rain race or something like that?
 
The Laguna Seca race will be the last one for the series. As said in the first post 1st and 2nd will receive $200,000 and $100,000 premium gift cars (I upped the prize) of their choice. Third will receive a $50,000 gift car. I will buy them myself and gift them to you.

After that I will take a poll to see if people want to continue with the current car format or go with a bit higher HP or even do a race modified series. I also may change up the points based on earlier suggestions.
 
We only got 4 (myself, ppark, rynedee, sonic) for the race last night and rynedee had to leave due to a migraine. Also, Jrock tried to join, but he had network issues. The last race is next week and I hope we can get more people there. I would like to have at least 6.

Even though we had a low turnout it was an amazing race between myself and sonic. He took the poll but I got out in front in turn 1 and he was right on my ass until lap 8 or 9. I tried my best to not give him a chance to pass and succeeded. He was on average about 5 car lengths from me for the middle 5 laps. Incredible close racing by him and I can't believe we didn't trade any paint. I will post a race recap on the league page along with the reply. I suggest you guys download it and take a look.

yes indeed m8 good race :) the acceleration of s2000 is lame even though we had the same hp and weight. lol:D
 
Reminder that the last race of the current series is this Thursday at 7PM EST. Race will be at Laguna Seca.

350HP Max / 1200kg Min Weight w/ Sports Tires

Usually we have people using NSX, Skyline, RX-7, or Impreza. It's not limited to any specific country, but you must be within the HP and weight requirements. I will add you to my PSN friends list and send a confirmation tonight. I usually send out a reminder at 6PM on Thursdays as well.

Great racing guys. Season 1 is over. You can see the full standings in my sig and rynedee won a $100k prize car (I will send you a message) on PSN. I want to start season 2 next week but I need all participants to sign up. Read the new OP and send me a PM or reply in this thread. Thanks!

I'm in, no idea what car. Just bought one but ran an engine tune on it. I think it was flavor of GT-R. I'll buy a new car tonight and drop you a line.

I'd love to be in on this, but after experiencing a couple of races in season one, it seems to me all the drivers in this league are way above my abilities :-) Good luck everyone!

The cars should be more equal this time around. If I remeber correctly your car was somewhat lifeless in the first season. Season two should be all about line and throttle control (and tuning I suppose).

Enjoyed racing you in season one, hope to trade paint in the future!

I don't even mind finishing at the bottom of the pack. I just dont want to get in other people's way every time. Maybe you and I should have a practice session sometime soon (I just bought my first GT500 car) and see what its like.

I'll join if I can put in some respectable times.

I plan on having a practice session tonight. I will send you a message on PSN when I do. It will probably be around 7pm.
 
Sounds good. I might be online at that time. I just bought the Xanavi Nismo GT-R (2003) I think. It was from the online dealership. Would that car be eligible to take part? Its not in your list on the first page.
 
Battman, just bought a Woodone GTR for series two. I replied to your psn msg as well.
 
Battman, can you please confirm if the Xanavi Nismo GT-R (2003) would be eligible for this series? I bought it off the online dealership (734,000). It is still stock and has 509hp. The only thing I've done to it is change the oil, and tuned the transmission.
