GT5's >MISSING< Tracks & Circuits [Moving on to GT6]

->
That track was not in GT4. When TT came out someone, I don't know who, was able to hack both the GT4 and TT discs and was able to produce a new GT4 disc replacing some of the GT4 tracks with TT tracks.

There was a thread about it in the GT4 forum a very long time ago.

Edit. Here.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=76982&

It wasn't in the game and it wasn't unlockable in any shape or form. It was recompiled from the GT4/TT discs to produce a new disc.

I call it red. 💡
^ That sums it up enough for me! :sly:

This track layout was also in GT Concept
^ Thanks for pointing it out! :)

Great list! However, I need to point out something:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5143936#post5143936

Someone else on the forums, squadjot, found two more tracks: Grand Canyon Track Mini and Piazza del Campo. I think you can move those to the "Pending to Return" category.

-> Updating it right now. :sly:

BT -> I think I may need to MERGE the totally dead World Circuits Thread and this thread together. Since I cannot edit that Valencia Track Debacle. :indiff:

EDIT -> Merging done and complete! :boggled:

EDIT -> I forgot to add the Arcade Versions of Autumn Ring, Grand Valley East, & Grand Valley Speedway from GT1 Arcade mode as seen here:

^ I wouldn't say its 'blank' because it has a significant layout design unlike the one in GT4 on which is festooned with cones. But its more like...should I call 1/16 mi. drag race layout?! :dunce:

-> How's this then?

^ Sorry, there was no proper track map layout image of this course.

^ I think I should apply the same format to most of my Youtube sourced tracks, except tracks that have no proper maps (ie. Secret Tracks & License Tracks). ;)

-> Maybe I should add the others too:

Yes that's fine. It's your thread anyway, you organise it the way you want to.

-> ...
Is this track shorter then GT5 version? For me the layout looks the same, but in the video the guy setted a ridiculously fast lap time eventhough he made tons of mistakes (1:34, i barely manage to beat that lap time in a 908 HDI FAP + racing softs in GT5)?
^ In GT1, the arcade version had a faster paced gameplay compared to the Simulation Mode/JDM version arcade mode. ;)

^ Huh!? :dunce:

-> The 'Mini '00s wasn't featured in GTC! The full ring was...unless you show me the goods. ;)

^ No worries! We're all human y'know. :sly:

BT -> Oh how I could imagine Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley, and Complex String all in GT5 visuals along with my digitized S2000!

First, some alternate layouts of original tracks (I don't have the appropriate software on my computer to draw them up, so I'll just have to describe them instead. Also, some corners would have to be altered to make the turns less sharp) -

Autumn Ring Short - Take the first hairpin as normal, and then turn right down the Mini cut-off before rejoining the main track after turn 9.

Grand Valley National - Start on the bridge just before the tunnel, then after the S-turns, take a right onto the second East cut-off, then right again at the end of that to get back to the start/finish.

Then, some Piazza del Campo style kart tracks -

Trafalgar Square - basically like the canned Piazza del Campo, except with more pigeon mess.

Madrid - combines the roundabout around the monument with the start of the pit straight.

Sorry I can't provide proper maps. 👍

Wow I never realized how many old and fantastic tracks were actually gotten rid of, Wonder what PD were thinking to remove them and give us things like SSR7 instead :(.

I've thought of another possible track - this time an extra length street circuit.

Paris Ultimate - connects the two GT4 Paris circuits with Avenue Champs-Elysées. It starts at the start/finish area of Opera Paris, goes around that track, then turns right onto Champs-Elysées. You thunder down Champs-Elysées, go around the George V Paris track, then make a sharp right and head the other direction along Champs-Elysées, before rejoining the Opera Paris track.

Oh I miss lot of Tracks from GT3, I was only remembering what it was like driving on Mid-Field raceway today. I loved that track and it's a bummer to see it (and alot of others) go away.

blah blah blah

I loved Mid-Field raceway

There are many tracks from the GT Series that I miss. The real question is; Will the powers that be see fit to give us at least some of the tracks we have all come to know and love from the GT Series? I would welcome any & all additional tracks to GT5.

Birthday Post -> I finally found my long-lost GT2 discs!!! I tried out playing Tahiti Road again (after like what, 7 years!?) and it was very nostalgic!!! 👍
